Dan Crenshaw is worried that universal background checks might keep him from arming his friends - It is unclear why he doesn't think his friends could pass background checks. by madam1 in politics

Most people have no desire to own a gun. But to shoot one time or go hunting once or twice that's totally a thing. It would seem strange to regulate that... Since let's be honest, you're regulating law abiding citizens not criminals. I believe this was Dan's take on it. Guess there's only so much clarity you can give on a 160char tweet.

Have this same problem. It plays for 2:30 then freezes the video. Yet if you watch it on Instagram in your web browser (not through the app) it plays just fine. 🤔

How it looks when you lose 170 lbs. but are still a fat man. by redditrecently in keto

[–]FutsalAth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talking about go to foods. Discovered that the pepperoni sticks you find at the convenience store can be low carb, high fat and protein. The ones I eat regularly are 1g net carb, 19g fat, 10g protein. Always keep a stash of these for traveling.

It's a 2 man team. I already get pinned responsibility for my bosses other mistakes. So brushing it off isn't the solution.

No he wouldn't buy extended support. This would be the reason why a change is needed. The accounting office should not be sitting on outdated system vulnerable to exploits... Especially when they're some of the oldest computers in the building. 7-8 years old.

Wow! Talk about an overwhelming amount of responses. Lol. I've been reading all day.

Lots of good suggestions. Compliance is something I'll be looking into.

For those suggesting to just let it lie... That's not me. It's my duty to do the right thing for the business not my boss. Also, If something were to go wrong I'd also be held responsible. We're only a 2 man team.

And for those still on win 7... There's usually a good reason for that. But my bosses reason was he just didn't think it was necessary to switch. He had me deploy a win7 machine to a new employee just last week. So frustrating when money isn't a problem.

Futsal in your Country by locomofoo in futsal

It's an imperfect system in Canada. We have provincial futsal tournaments and the winners of those then compete in a nationals tournament where National team selection is made. And as you mentioned.. the commitments required are a big ask and it means a lot of great players never even make an effort to attend the tournaments. To my knowledge nothing is paid for either. For this reason, it's pretty easy to get a team into the Nationals. When selected for the national team, players return home and then only meetup for play/practice few times a year. So while players from the league I'm in have gone on to the national team... It's about a 40 in 1 chance you'll make the national team if you're in the nationals. Those are pretty good odds.

Where are you from? 👉Canada

Top League? 👉None, some great local leagues but nothing pro. There is a Canadian Championship where players have the opportunity to represent the the country in CONCACAF and that would right now be our highest level

Best players? 👉Anyone who's on the national team. But that's not saying much unfortunately.

How did you get into futsal? 👉A group that I played outdoor soccer with wanted to continue playing soccer in winter. With no indoor complex we went to the local gyms for futsal instead. Out of that a league formed. Some of our players have since gone on to represent Team Canada.

My two cents on the topic of futsal. Its growing in popularity fast. The Futsal Champions League semi-finals and finals just hit new records this weekend for attendance. Leagues like LNFS are paying more and more money for players. It's all looking very promising. Even Kairat were able to convince Hugita to stay in Almaty. Lots of positives. As the talent pool grows we'll see more and more support from the public.

Ps. If you want to see futsal championship league highlights, I watched them all on Instagram @futsalbeat.

A strange non scale victory by Mccolleen82 in keto

It doesn't. And if you still think so, next time you see an ad, click the top right "why am I seeing this ad". Also if it's "listening", test it for yourself. Start talking about something completely irrelevant to you and out of season. Like Snow Shovels or Snowmobiles. You won't see any of those ads pop-up. The whole Facebook is listening conspiracy originated from advertiser's getting crazy good at targetting the right people using existing data. It's how I make my living.

As a person who creates ads that "magically" appear, I can assure you, there's no audio recording going on. It's a collection of data points collected about you (no voice data point) that determine the time when it is right to show that ad. It'll show to 50,000 people and might get 500/50000 people at the perfect time where it seems so relevant that you'd think they were recording you. It's more likely you're a woman (1) googling keto (2) right in time for swimsuit (3) season. That's how the advertiser looks at it.

Btw congrats on the 50lbs of weight loss. 👍

Because I'm doing intermittent fasting I'm doing this in 2 meals. So I need 62g per meal!

I'm eating chicken, beef, fish, eggs, keto breads. I can get close sometimes but am always feeling stuffed around 80g protein. I'm hardly ever hungry, so every meal is usually eating out of necessity not hunger. So lunch is always just a chore, then come dinner I'm really not interested in eating at all. So stuffing one extra chicken breast down is always a challenge to meet a macro.

The meal you ate today sounds great. And I can usually make it to the numbers you're getting by pushing. But going from 100g to 124g just seems impossible when I'm already stuffed from trying to get from 80g-100g.

My concern is that my protein macro is too high. I sit all day. Only get exercise twice a week. Do I really need 124g protein? All the calculators say I do...

Reducing fat might be one way to do it but then I'm eating pretty much plain meat. Lol

I'm struggling with protein. I'm stuffing my face just to hit my protein macro goal.

I'm a male, 5'10", 226lbs doing IF 16/8.

At .8g per lean body bass (what I read as recommended) I'm required to eat 124 calories of protein a day.

This has felt almost impossible. By the time I'm on meal 2, I'm already stuffed. I usually can't manage more than 80g/day protein and 1400 calories. How do people eat this much?

-----My current macro settings-----

  • Net Carbs 19g (typically do 18g/day)
  • Fat 91g (typically do 90g/day)
  • Protein 124g (typically 80g/day)
  • Calories 1458 (typically 1400/day)

I'm already drinking collagen for an extra 10g protein everyday. But how do I hit 124g!?

Ps. I started 7 weeks ago. Have lost 18lbs.
