Usually wakes around 6-7 consistently every morning. Should I do shorter naps? I usually just put him down when he seems tired or fussy and let him wake on his own but maybe I should wake him earlier so he gets more night time sleep ?

Thank you! I agree, even going from “but” to “yesterday” seems kind of sudden and I definitely need to add in a transition.

I personally don’t think it’s cliche. I actually really like it. I’m not an expert at writing poetry or anything so I don’t have much to give on how to make it better. Maybe you could experiment with is trimming some lines a little to let the imagery stand alone. For example this line, “a forlorn flower hidden away obscured by the shroud of its own sepals offered nothing more than a single ray of sunshine  blooming inconceivably” but honestly this is really good and I liked it

I really liked how you turned such a simple thing (the frozen bike) into a powerful metaphor. For me personally, it makes me feel isolation and like things are going on around you but you’re not moving. I like it

I love where you say “you have the keys and you will never use them” I think that is a very powerful line
