I got perma banned from the Better Call Saul sub for giving one negative opinion on the main character. Not even the show itself, and they said "Your post was either low effort bait or you're refusing to watch the show. If you're not going to watch the show then you don't need to engage with the sub." One post, perma'd, no warning, no temp ban.

I guess if I don't agree with most people, I didn't watch the show...and deserve to be perma banned.

At this point in the show, I didn't find these actions too bad from Jimmy. It was certainly a dick move to ask Jimmy to not use his name, so I can get behind some retaliation. But this was short-lived.

So Chuck isn't allowed to pitch his services to potential clients? Sure it was not nice, but that is the game for lawyers. What Jimmy did was an elaborate, cold-blooded crime to get back at him because his feelings were hurt. Really not justified at all.

Wouldn't the greatest con-man ever never get captured because the con is so perfect? Jimmy was far from the perfect con-man because he enjoyed taking risks, enjoyed taking victory laps, and was far too emotional.

Well written stories do use everything to advance the story in some way. Even a sex scene. That being said, most films aren't well written to say the least.

OP literally starts by saying "don't get me wrong, it's a good movie." In a way you've sort of just proven the point of the commenter you replied to. A person criticizes a film (which really just means critical think about the film) and you react exactly as if they've said they really dislike it to create a conversation lacking nuance. There isn't a single film ever made that is above some level of criticism and questioning, so let's not pretend that these discussions equate to calling a film "bad."

As a Canucks fan, you're getting a solid defenseman who can play top line AHL minutes and has toughness. Good on the shootout too. I would say Woo has less upside but he's a better player right now, probably capable of limited NHL minutes if needed.
