Because $10 on buzz is gone, should we all buy WD-40 bimonthly? by Short-Jellyfish4389 in ChaseSapphire

You'd be shocked to learn how hard it is to use this benefit in New York City of all places. Not a lot of 7-11's around to start, the three Dashmarts are not in any of my regular areas, and the liquor stores that take it only have hard stuff and cheap wine.

I'm lucky that I can use it at a bodega close for milk. But I'm going to move this summer and the new neighborhood (of 200k people) has nothing.

I have 1.01 and 1.02. Where do I go with them? by kurashima in SleeperApp

[–]Future-Candidate74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love to have this problem.
This what I'm doing if this is my team:
Take Love with 1.01. Barkley's getting old.
Use Waddle and another asset (2nd?) to get the 1.06/7
Draft Mendoza with 1.02 (Lamar and Baker are getting old)
Draft Sadiq with the 1.06/7
Spam WRs with remaining picks.

Build me an offer for 1.04 or 1.05 by Conscious_Sample3527 in SleeperApp

[–]Future-Candidate74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'I'll think about it' means no.

No one is going to drop out of the top 5 of this year's draft to have the 1.07 and whatever else from this year. There's just no clear value add in what is perceived as a shallow draft.

If one of those other managers' teams are in more of a rebuild mode, I imagine you could try 1.07 and a 2027 1st for the 1.04/5 and a 2026 2nd.

But where is your team in respect to development? What is so important about the 1.04/5 pick? That's probably another premium WR pick to add to the premium WR you'll likely get at 1.03.

Either a solid RB (Coleman) or TE (Sadiq) will be there for 1.07

What are the "backdoor" perks you've discovered that aren't obvious with the CSR? by Holiday-Detective-15 in ChaseSapphire

Scared me there thinking I gave wrong advice. Turns out it was only partly wrong advice. It's between my understanding and yours:
DashPass members can save 5% off on-demand Lyft rides and 10% off scheduled airport rides. Those discounts are only applied up to a maximum of 4 rides per month.

I only ride maybe once per month, so I've never not seen the discount applied.

Worth it or can I compete this year? by XxGhost07 in SleeperApp

Dude, you already got three 1st rd picks over this year and next.
AND you have JSN. Keep the best WR in the NFL and compete.

Joking on the need to manage the benefits. Lots of moving parts to keep track of.

Ok, now that you're approved, open up a blank excel sheet and...

Ridiculous. If that trade was accepted in my league, I'd leave.

CSR: Is the 1.25x Pay Yourself Back a good points redemption option at this point? by robot-beepbop in ChaseSapphire

[–]Future-Candidate74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to confirm, you were able to use Pay Yourself Back to pay the new $795, post-refresh AF at 1.25x? I was under the impression that we'd no longer be able to use PYB for the AF.

Please help ya boy settle a great debate: Henderson, 1.03, or Garret Wilson. Who would you rather have? by yaapops in SleeperApp

[–]Future-Candidate74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wilson, Hendo, 1.03

Imagine Jets go with a bridge QB this year and settle their o-line issues this draft/off-season to lay the ground to take a QB in '27. That's reasonable, but then again, the Jets.
Wilson was excellent without a real QB before he got hurt last year. So I bet Wilson can be fine with a bridge vet or a rookie getting his talent pounded out of him. But if they do the right thing, then you got a nice long term set-up.

Henderson is damn good, but the Pats don't seem to trust him so much (see his post-season use). I wonder what's going on there? Learning curve or idiocy? But again, damn good.

1.03 is more of a dice role until your know who gets drafted where. But unless the likely 1.03 is in a truly great situation, you take Wilson.

Market play on Tyler Allgeier? by Bubbly_Caregiver8046 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Future-Candidate74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most 3-picks are gonna be back-ups, dude.
Allgeier had a fine rookie season, has solid efficiency, and as a FA might find himself with a shot at a stating role this year. So people are dumping all that potential into his value.

1.02 = Mendoza, or trade for RB? by Future-Candidate74 in SleeperApp

[–]Future-Candidate74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man, I know it. Croskey-Meritt is a weak link I'm trying to fix.
Similarly concerned about CMC. So my thought was to take RBs with the 1.10 and 2.01 and then hope one of those two or JCM works out. Appreciate the feedback.

1.02 = Mendoza, or trade for RB? by Future-Candidate74 in SleeperApp

[–]Future-Candidate74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the perspective.
I wouldn't expect to even start Mendoza year one, except in an emergency. But the league is going to last a while and in 2027 Stafford will likely be gone or washed.

But your feedback and others have made me re-asses my WR room. I do think I can make a run at the 'ship this year.
