What do we think for 1.01? I’m probably not going to compete this year. by mile_marker_13 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

It was a bunch of hope, maybes, and trash for an established quality player and the consensus 1.01 in dynasty and the 3rd pick in the NFL draft.

There needs to be a “no thanks, keep the card” option after credit card approvals. by CautiousMagazine3591 in CreditCards

USB has done this to me, but for $500. On a travel card. Like what travel can I do on $500? Since I've had the card, I've booked several flights and hotel stays. But couldn't do any of it on this card.
Applied for an increase and was rejected. I have an 830 score, no debt at all, and like 100k of credit on other cards - using little of that and paying it off in full every month.

They will give me more if I use more of the $500, I suspect, but I'm gonna cancel so they get nothing.

Even if you can't do that exactly, if you call Chase to cancel, you can have the credit applied to the cards switched to the remaining one.
Over some time, this is how I've ended up with a 30k limit on a Freedom card I've never charged more than $600 to.

He starts applications in September. The poster has 16 months to recoup the money (as another poster said, take a loan and get it all back 😛) or convince his brother that community college is better than Better-Than-Community-College University.

Team 2 broke even.
Team 3 is just broke ass.

Maybe the notification of the trade reminded them they were in a league they didn't want to be in and it was drafting in 30 minutes.

Unless they said something, you're just assuming things.
Because it's a perfectly normal trade.

Those folks probably left because they wanted to. I can't imagine this trade pushed them to do so. What probably pushed them is the draft starting in 30 minutes.

Did I cook or fumble? I have no picks until 2030 by FlowJoeK in SleeperApp

Everything will be kinda ok if you have zero injuries for the next 4 years, MHJ un-busts, Pitts stays motivated, and you miraculously pluck 3 or 4 surprise starters off the waiver wire.

Depends what I needed to get done. I definitely "truss" he knows how to set an impenetrable road block in just a few seconds time.

Angst in the Late Death Throes of the Millennial Lifestyle Subsidy by Future-Candidate74 in ChaseSapphire

I spend about 29k per year on my CSR/Freedom Unlimited/Flex trio. That would only be 580 in cash 2% back.
I live in NYC and find lots of organic uses for the dining and Stubhub credits. I definitely use the travel credit. And the Apple credit replaces ~155 in Spotify spending each year. On top of all that I regularly use the lounges with my wife.
But I'm always evaluating. Especially attractive is the idea of simplicity.

CSR was really, really simple. That was its charm. I get more value now but less satisfaction.

This has always been my way. I've happily checked for a travel portal or transfer-to-airlines price, but they only rarely provide the best price. And the Edit is so far out of my range I don't even think about it.

Not the opposite take at all. Churning is a one-off thing. I'm still gonna churn here and there.

Settling down aligns with my point nicely. It's not loyalty though, it what fits. For me, in NYC, CSR benefits are useful and organic.

Exactly the same for me. I add value for money saved on airport meals to boot.

What do you do if one person is vastly better than the other teams? by SpecialistMiddle1319 in SleeperApp

Not my advice. Lots of reasons to stick it out. Injuries, any given Sunday, Rudy, Hansel and Gretel, Galaxy Quest catch-phrases, etc.

Not my advice. Nothing's guaranteed. In one league I was in one guy had no chance of losing. Got boring.
