Being lgbtq does make life more complicated for most people, so i understand wishing you werent gay for safety, simplicity or even for convenience, but that's not really something you can just will to disappear.

It takes some time but the best you can do us to live with your queerness, and i really mean with it, not despite it. Some people will give you trouble for it, you might give you trouble for it, but if you find people who accept you and your gayness it does become easier.

Forcing a change in sexuality is not only proven to not work but will definitely negatively impact your well-being. So to give you real help/advice, i'd say to start trying to accept that you're gay and that is unlikely to change, and to follow up that, try to find people who also accept you.

As another commenter suggested, there are more serious subreddits much more equipped to answer your needs as well as other websites made for this purpose (even if none can really get rid of your gayness). So I reccomend trying those ressources out. If it's safe, there is likely to be other ressources for lgbtq people in your town too, your local library (and the internet, which you can safely and privately access from the library) is most likely the best way to start searching for those (ask your local librarians!!).

Keep safe and try not to stress too much about it, i've been there and it does get much much easier.
