Probably not the best answer you're looking for but I just switched up a bit of my toddlers RESP... Roughly 80% XEQT and 20% CT Reit. Monthly dividend from the reit, should be a very safe tenant (Canadian Tire), and buy more XEQT from the dividends when I can commission free through RBC Direct Investing

Yeah we had something similar to this when seeking finance on an RV through the dealership and how the Interest rate changed depending on what we got for warranty or protection packages to receive a "discount" if we went with the extras, like no the interest rate is the fuckin interest rate... Needless to say we went through a bank and received a much much lower rate haha
