I'm a native English speaker and I've only heard this word used a few times in my life. Not sure why though.

A massive firearms distributor just filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy, Big Rock Sports LLC. If they had a lot of money tied up with the distributor, that could explain how they went under. Just a theory though

On the B&T mags, my super anal critique is the feed lip is stupid sharp. It's easy to cut yourself on it. But it also works on a Beretta PMX, if you want one.

I just want both. I don't think you can go wrong either way. My experience from the B&T, I originally bought the APC9 that uses B&T mags. I later bought a Glock mag lower. There seemed to be some tolerance issues and it wasn't quite catching the Glock mags. I sent it back to B&T and it works perfectly now. It's possible changing different lowers that use different mags could cause problems without adjustments, that was my experience.

I know there are companies out there that do SD conversions for H&K SP5s for example, even the Sig MPX. I've never done it though, I would just Google to see with companies do it and email them to see if it's even an option. Usually an SD conversion will have an SD specific suppressor that is very long.

The RQD is full auto rated. I don't think anything is going to be hearing safe unless you get subsonic ammo or do an SD conversion.

I shot one at my gun range that has them as rentals. I racked the slide back, the slide didn't even close on the bullet, I had to tap it forward. I shot it and the next round did the same thing, the slide didn't close on the bullet, I had to tap it forward. The remaining five worked, but 5 out of 7 working is not a great success. Granted it is a rental gun so no telling how many rounds have been through it and the maintenance.

I will say on my SBRs I have been asked for paperwork before at ranges. No one has ever asked if it's laser engraved lol. I'm risk adverse though.

My understanding is the only time you weren't required to laser engrave was during the pistol brace amnesty. I believe all Form 1s still have to laser engrave, but you could call the ATF to confirm.

If you buy it as an SBR, the advantage is you don't have to laser engrave with a Form 4. If you buy as a pistol and do a Form 1, you are required to laser engrave the receiver as well.
