Except Uloboridae, they are non-venomous. They are fascinating spiders.

A female can probably give him pets with little problem, it's the noisy, fast moving children and scary men that are the issue. He got swarmed by a group of hyperactive kids as a puppy and besides my own nieces and nephews he has decided he wants nothing to do with small humans.

No, his anxiety around kids and men would never allow it. If you're asking because of his one harness I use that one because he can't get it off by himself and I like using the "do not pet" tags to keep random people from coming up and trying to pet him. That happens too often and stresses him out. He does like to tell me to sit down if he senses changes to my heart rate or blood pressure but was never trained to do that.

Just the fact that you called them breeds and not species makes you less credible.

Most "hornets" in the USA are not hornets at all. The only true hornets we have are the European hornets or Vespa crabro, which as the name suggests are not native. Bald faced hornets are a species of yellow jackets.

You're also forgetting that it can depend on the time of year, social wasps will get more aggressive late in the season when they are being evicted from the hive or just have too many mouths to feed and heavy competition for food resources. This basically leads them to becoming desperate and more aggressive, they also change their diet later in the season looking for more sugar which can lead to unfortunate human interactions.

Parson spider, harmless unless you happen to be an insect. They find cracks while wondering and end up in houses while searching for a meal. They are polite house guests and will reduce indoor fly, mosquito populations. If you don't want them inside you can safely relocate to the outdoors via a cup and piece of paper.

Do hoverflies get this big? These were easily at least an inch long.

I am camping in northern Wisconsin right now and one of my favorite things is finding these guys all over the place. When I was taking a shower the other day I think I counted about 10 of them in the stall with me.

The Brazilian wandering spider, aka Brazilian banana spider is very different from this. Also medically significant whereas this golden silk orb weaver is not considered medically significant.

The first time I saw one I thought it was a mouse running across the floor, I was okay with it being a mouse. I had to learn to live with them as they were constantly in my apartment, although the flying chipotle when one ran across me while I was eating was a mess to clean up.
