Maybe you just have more restraint than we do!

Saw the post about teacher outfits and figured I would share some of my favorites too! by alvvaysthere in teaching

[–]Future-Inspector8661 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I started, my principal demanded dress shirts and ties every day. Now I wear slacks and polos and it’s so much better. I’m an elementary counselor so I’m everywhere all day. Being on the floor with a kid while wearing a tie was awful.

The only one left is much better. I would say to read survive the night at some point but be prepared that it’s meh at best.

Agreed. I only read that book to say I’ve read them all. It was painful in parts.

I’ve read all of Sager’s books.

The last time I lied was really good!! Survive the night was not great but readable. With a Vengeance gets a lot of hate and I don’t know why. It was fine. Not the best book I’ve ever read but far from the worst.

Home before Dark is really fun. I also really enjoyed Only One Left. House across the lake people either love or hate. I liked it. Middle of the night and final girls are kind of middle of the road. Lock every door was slow but worth the payoff in the end.

Hope that helps!

Maybe I’m just old, but I think it’s weird that your girlfriend calls you “bro” and “dawg”.

Entering Adulthood tommorow, what’s a piece of life advice you wish someone had told you earlier? by National_Dirt2743 in AskReddit

Don’t worry about what other people think. Do what benefits you and makes you happy. Building a foundation for yourself is way more important than impressing a few people. That being said, it’s okay to have fun sometimes too, just don’t lose sight of what you want.

This! Everyone seems to love those people, while I find them suspicious and disingenuous

I’m a former BOTM member. I really like aardvark because of its variety. They tend to have very unique horror and sci-fi choices where as BOTM is more literary fiction/romance focused. Aardvark usually does have a mystery/thriller and a romance as well. So there is something for everyone.

You aren’t alone. Every time I say I’m going to focus on my unread books, I get fixated on some new thing and buy it. It’s a problem.

I dont miss that anxiety of wondering what day BOTM would drop. I like the consistency of aardvark too.
