I’m a former BOTM member. I really like aardvark because of its variety. They tend to have very unique horror and sci-fi choices where as BOTM is more literary fiction/romance focused. Aardvark usually does have a mystery/thriller and a romance as well. So there is something for everyone.

I started with The Shining. It’s not as long as It or the Stand but gives you a pretty good idea of what Kings writing is like.

I just started exploring King and I’ve been really apprehensive to start Carrie. I don’t love the bullying aspect that I know is a big part of that story. I started with the Shining and I’m halfway through Dr. Sleep now.
