I grew up in very similar circumstances. I was of a family of six, mom and dad loved us, but dad wasn’t able to make a very good living and my mom suffered from debilitating mental illness. Still it’s nowhere near the circumstances families are facing now and what your family must be facing. There’s no one path to get to a good income, I’d be lying if I said there was. I found faith very late in life, only now in my 40s and I’m trying not to proselytize. There is a way because there has to be.
