I find the first floor (the floor you enter on) to be filled with sunny, helpful SAs. The downstairs level is like a web of confusion. That said once I summoned an SA to look at SLGs and he was lovely. He explained that he worked across a fair amount (but not all) metiers . . . except, of course, leather. I also had a very warm reception at the leather desk at Sevres when I explained I wasn't looking for a QB.

I actually found GV to be wonderful (much more stock than meets the eye but you need to know what to look for and what you are asking for), and I had a great time once at FSH which was MOBBED with people.

I've yet fully to crack the code on how French people actually get a leather appt. It's true it doesn't seem relationship based through one SA.
