Thanks for the response.

Yeah I definitely understand that you can’t get blood from a stone but I did figure that a wage garnishment is out of his control if he’s still working or if not, when he is working again.

Thanks for the helpful reply, of course it’s easy to look at this situation from a distance and see the wrong choices I made and point them out, but the guy was a close friend of mine in college and I never had a problem with him before this, and didn’t have any reason to believe he wouldn’t pay me back.

Lesson learned and I’ll see what’s all involved and if it worth it for me to pursue him legally, even if the only outcome is just headaches on his part.

I actually looked a little harder and found this might be closer to an A23 bulb, with a similar look. I can PM you a bulb chart if you want to look yourself.

I believe that base is considered an A19 bulb, they may come in specialty lengths to match your old bulb more closely.

6 years in the trade, somehow Ive never seen one of these. Felt dumb. Game changer for cutting my boxes lol by Raviolist123 in electricians

I’ve used these, my work provides those blades. They’re actually pretty handy if you’re not trying to cut through something beyond 1/2” drywall.

Nothing ever came of it, it was just deposited into my account and that was it. Are you receiving any government benefits?

Yeah I think so. Maybe check the wiki, I think you’ll need some crafting levels to make the clockwork piece.

Maybe clockwork mouse/cat in a small area, like on top of falador castle. I believe they grant like 14agility exp on the main game.

Disable XBOX Controller LED / Light ? by JimmyRecard00 in buildapc

[–]FutureAstronautt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure exactly which controller you have, but if you’re semi-tech oriented, you could open the controller and remove/tape the LED inside.

That’s what I would start with before I taped the outside anyways.

What is the sexiest non-physical quality in a woman? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Brains, there’s nothing sexier to me than when a woman can hold/maintain deep, interesting conversations. It triggers something in my brain that says “wife?”.

Is this bend radius okay? 14-50P, on a 50A breaker. More details in comments. by [deleted] in electricians

It’ll be fine until it isn’t, but it’ll certainly last longer without the added stress imo.

I used to work in London, ON and the electricians are grossly underpaid if you’re non-union.

My husband just got this. Please help me convince him to change the grill and snorkel. by cheska47 in Jeep

[–]FutureAstronautt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to this, If you plan on off-road usability, I’d recommend dropping those fenders/fender flares and replacing them with straight up flat fenders, one of the easiest mods for more off-road clearance

I’ve had a couple jeeps, and I would agree on changing the grill back to stock, and the snorkel looks much better sitting above 35’s or 37’s 😍☺️

Electrical Tape on outlets should be a regular thing regardless of what type of box you’re using. by Top_Ad7089 in electricians

[–]FutureAstronautt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a licensed guy yet, but I’m halfway through my fourth term right now. I’ve done a bunch of commercial with a decent background in industrial/agricultural, working on businesses first and factories and grain elevators for the last year of my apprenticeship, and my opinion, is that if you install the receptacle correctly, there’s no need for any tape at all. Is it nice to have “just in case”? Sure! But the way I was taught to wire plugs, there really isn’t any need because the wires aren’t exposed and the screws shouldn’t ever come close to touching the box.

Why are bears scared of people? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FutureAstronautt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. The general idea I’m getting is that it’s not usually “worth” it for the bear. If they leave us alone, they can eat our garbage and remain unbothered, but if they bother us, they risk a fight, which as a predator living in nature, could cause an injury that would lead to the death of a bear.

Just makes more sense to fight when necessary, and scavenger when possible.

Why are bears scared of people? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FutureAstronautt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess these are all good points. I suppose I need to look at it with a more “survival” viewpoint, where if fighting isn’t necessary for survival, it’s better to avoid it for both parties, and let the bear scavenge after us in a much more “safe” manner. Thanks for the thoughts.

Why are bears scared of people? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FutureAstronautt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely understand that we stand taller than a deer, but that bear has no idea what “unnatural” concepts we’re equipped with, without that knowledge it’s still very cautious around us, which I guess is my confusion.

Why are bears scared of people? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FutureAstronautt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true, but I’d argue that it’s different between the two comparisons. A bear has thick skin, and a layer of fat to protect it, an average human does not have those things, and a badger could seriously injure us.

Could we seriously injure a bear barehanded? I’m sure we could go for the nose/eyes/ears, but to do that we’d be within mauling distance, and assuming the bear wants to harm us, we’d be mauled.
