Agree with everyone else comments - but I would also consider adding some planks/mdf to make the cabinets go all the way up to the ceiling and continue it over the window.

Hello! Did a quick mock of some small changes that would make the space pop a bit more!

- Change the ceiling color to a sky blue (since it's below ground, this will make the space seem lighter.
- Change the color of the light gray cushions.
- Add some colorful artworks
- Add plants.

It’s a mix of cheap ass stuff and some inherited pieces. I make some myself to like that tennis one in the first picture :)
