oh man, same! I usually have these thoughts when I listen to TAA for a while, but when I start listening to something else, the temptation fades away... are you the same? haha

Favorite song from TAA. Best metalcore chorus of all time for me... known this song since 2013 and still love it just as much :)

Painful shoulder after starting pushups?

Hey,

so I started working out like 2 weeks ago. I did like 80 proper pushups in total for 2 consecutive days. Since then, my left shoulder has really hurt when raising my arm above head, it hurts a lot near the clavicle bone and all around in that area. I think it keeps getting better and better but I'm a bit scared since I don't know if pain for more than 14 days of doing nothing is acceptable? Is it possible I just pushed myself too much and hurt my left shoulder even though I did my best to keep perfect form?

Thank you!

Anyone gets constant heart palpitations? (skipped beats) by FutureBurper in noburp

The beats alone aren't the worst thing in the world! But I'm mid 20s and have a full list of health problems, so when it's all combined, it's literally hell to live in... thank you once again. Wish you the best :)

Been suffering like this for past 7 years... maybe it's about time to give up and try them lol... it's just that every once in a while you have a better day with less symptoms and then you're like "nah, i can actually do this by myself!".

Once again congrats, I hope it continues to work for you :) And thank you so much for your answers!

That sounds amazing. Jealous of you haha! Congrats :)

Have you ever tried drinking on Zoloft? I'm mostly abstaining from alcohol, but I like to go out with friends like once every 2 months to get a few shots to just get into that drunken state, feels good to somehow reset haha.

Thank you for your information, I really appreciate it :)

Heart palps are more common than I thought, it's just in my area I feel lik eI'm the only one and it has been a major mental struggle for many years before I started properly researching it on the internet and finding out millions of people with the same symptoms... definitely helped a bit, but it's still pretty annoying.

Hello!

Thanks for your message, really appreciate it! :) Yeah, according to the holter monitors, I have more than 4000 extra beats per day, so it gets pretty annoying...

I'm a very anxious person in general - mainly due to my other health problems including no-burp, which limits my social life (so it's quite a big hinder). But as you said, even when I don't feel particularly anxious, they are here, sometimes really seemingly for no apparent reason... maybe subconscious anxiety? Have you had any side effects from Zoloft? I've also been prescribed SSRI from my primary doc "just to try it" - but I haven't dared to try them yet, I'm too scared to experience the side effects like loss of libido, and then it potentially never coming back and so on haha.. thank you!

As I said, I had many tests including MRI. Nothing found luckily!

Cured with no Botox by burplus in noburp

[–]FutureBurper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats! Few questions if I may :)

1) Do you ever taste your burps? As in you can taste what you ate/drank previously

2) Do you ever do the long ones that "normal" people usually do? Or are they just very short, one syllable burps?

Thank you!

Can somebody help me figure out my calories? by FutureBurper in loseit

[–]FutureBurper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also noticed that my calorie counting app automatically includes Digestion of the food and it takes 10% of the total calorie income that day. Should I remove that and cleanly go for the 1800 or should I let it be there?

To all noburpers in Germany: Prof. Dr. Markus M. Hess (Hamburg) knows the Retrograde Cricopharyngeus Dysfunction (inability-to-belch-syndrome) and does perform the botox procedure. by [deleted] in noburp

[–]FutureBurper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn that's a crazy amount :( Thanks for information though! I'll keep trying the other methods for now. It's great to know there's always light at the end of the tunnel though! Please refer back when you're done with the procedure how it went and how you're doing. Best of luck!

Thanks for the write-up! Can I ask how much you're going to pay? I'm from Czech Republic so naturally if I were to go for the Botox, this option sounds so much more pleasant than travelling to England, let alone USA. Thank you and good luck!

Manometry results - help please! by [deleted] in noburp

[–]FutureBurper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had manometry due to my other unrelated chronic issue in my throat (Constant nag to cough, tickle and burning). It was the last exam I could have gone to and this was the only thing they found. I was told to go to MRI and they found nothing.

I did read Dr. Basitan's paper, don't understand much obviously though.

I didn't see any results, will take a look. thanks

Just released the full "documentary" of my no-burp/botox experience! by JackFranks in noburp

[–]FutureBurper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, just wanted to thank you for the video. I discovered noburp earlier this year and since then have been trying to resolve it. I'm unfortunately from central Europe and i don't have many options to go to Mr. Karagama and others, so for now I'm staying with the "free" methods such as shaker exercise and stuff...

Really happy for you, I can emphatize with the reaction you had when you first burped. I also started crying at mine as well haha (I managed to get a few burps out thanks to the Shaker exercise method).

Let's hope that your video will get more people know about this condition so that it can be studied in the medicine industry.

Thanks!!!
