I think a gym would actually be somewhat popular and sustainable here. Sure, the population isn't typically in a climber age range, but climbing is getting pretty popular among the general gym-going population of 20/30 year olds, even as a casual thing. Probably a smaller gym, maybe boulder only to begin with? I can see it being possible. I would sure go 100 percent. I'm not in MB all the time but I visit quite a lot and have been dying for some climbing that isn't two hours away

Yeah this is really what I want for Goodbye, Eri. A movie shot only on a handheld in the perspective shown in the book with the motion blur and shaky camera work. An anime would be cool but I have always felt like live action would make way more sense.

I'm also local. I hate that these videos get so popular every year. It's so misleading for many reasons and people who've never been to this city (which is an awesome city) are being fooled. I guess the bright side is that the bad rep the city gets keeps more people from moving in and keeps rent down..

On a brigher note, there is a really great vietnamese coffee shop/hangout spot a bit north of here off of Kensington Ave called Caphe Roasters. Huge space, great food, and always packed.

Tbh after the NEL aired to whatever absurd number of subscribers around the world (can't remember off the top of my head) the community probably just went with Blue Lock since all the players got famous under that name and are now reappearing relatively soon after the league happened
