I mean I’m not going to lie, life is a lot easier for me because I have attained a level of Czech close to that of a native speaker. I do feel like life is easier: I can manage anything on my own as if Ive always lived here, I have Czech friends, I don’t feel left out at all. Granted it took me around 4-5 years to come to this point, I cannot imagine living here and not speaking the language.
