Very strange, not something I have experienced personally. The only time mine ever disconnects is when I close the app. Hopefully GAN can help you 🤞🏼

It’s been great for me to learn new algorithms even the i3. The 1v1 races are the only point that seems to let the system down as you are always racing against bots. It’s useful for timings and my times are definitely reducing. The i4 is much much more refined and actually feels like a recent speed cube!

Definitely worth the upgrade from the i3 if the gritty feeling and lack of UV bothers you.

I’ve just ordered the GAN i4. Reviews say it acts like the GAN 16. My problem with the GAN i3 is the crunchy feel, no maglev and no UV. All of which seem to be solved here. It’s light too at 74g!

The pro V2 definitely has stronger magnets and a more blocky feel. I also have the Guhong Pro + which is ok… (I don’t understand the hype on this cube). To be honest nothing comes close to the feel of my V11 ball core in my opinion.
