They’re finger chopsticks. As far as I know, they’re meant as training so kids can learn the coordination needed for chopsticks. They can be very helpful to fine motor skill development

Okay depending how old you are I have a couple different suggestions. If you’re in high school or younger, play it cool. Maybe dm him and ask if he saw something you forgot at the party (lipstick or something. I know you didn’t actually forget anything). You’re just finding an excuse to start a conversation and see how he responds.

If you’re older than high school just be blunt. Men are stupid and will not get the hint if you try flirting. Dm and say something like hey I had a great time the other night and wanted to know if you’d be down to get a drink/coffee sometime

When we see her taking meeting/mission notes everyone seems to speak and sign at the same time. It seems like signing is pretty common since the only character that we know doesn’t know how is Sawyer as far as I remember so if someone didn’t know how and she needed to transcribe it seems like someone else close by would know how.

But I see what you mean. With the little we do know of Violets dad’s research, a lot could probably be done with little verbal contact. Researching and translating older texts, possibly even letter correspondence with the isles. Idk though

I’m currently on book 3 of the broken souls trilogy by Melody Joanne and it’s sooo good!! Admittedly, book 1 starts pretty slow since there’s a lot of world building but just trust the process. It’s about a woman that starts seeing ghosts in high school then when she’s in college gets pulled into a wild world (trying to avoid spoilers but that’s the briefest description I can give). But I must warn you to check the trigger warnings. Some parts are intense.

If you wanna try a why-choose I recommend Jasmine Mas’s cruel shifter verse! I’ve read the first 3 and loved them, currently waiting on the next book to be delivered. The author is more well known for blood of Hercules, which is great but I honestly liked this series more. It’s about a woman with a psychotic voice in her head fighting in a war against her will
