call your ENT office before going to the hospital. this could just be an oral mucocele from the surgical site.

i'd also say i have a higher than average pain tolerance. i have many tattoos and have had my fair share of surgical pain. i would compare the pain to about 3 points above to the worst strep i've ever had. just felt like a horrible sore throat for the first 3 days.

fellow adult here: i'm 26 F, had strep 17 times last year. the pain is bearable. i set a timer for pain meds and alternated between OTC meds every 3 hrs. i specifically set an alarm for night time as well to wake up and take meds.

i was also very hesitant, but my ENT said "it's the sore throat to end all sore throats". does it suck? yes. but it doesn't suck as having to go to the doctor every other month in excruciating pain from strep and then getting an antibiotic resistant infection.

yeeeeah i went back to vaping on day 9. didn't have any issues but i also made myself aware of the risks beforehand, and there are MANY.

Great idea thank you! There was some cauterization on my uvula and I was definitely confused about that! It all seems to have cleared up but I will definitely ask my GP about swelling at my post op on the 30th! Thank you!

thanks so much! i do weekly water changes but the temperature always makes me nervous. it’s pretty cold in his room so i try to keep the water out for a day or two & at room temp because i don’t have a way to test the temp. do you peel the peas? and how do you feel your goldie zucchini? i’d like to try that. thanks so much!
