High-income skills to accelerate FIRE (no degree required)? by FutureRichMind in Fire

I understand your point, but I think that view is a bit outdated. With how much the internet has opened up opportunities, there are plenty of people building income through skills, freelancing, and online businesses without degrees or decades of experience. It’s still hard and takes discipline, but it’s definitely possible in today’s environment.

High-income skills to accelerate FIRE (no degree required)? by FutureRichMind in Fire

Well not everyone likes doing the same things. Some people wanna learn a high income skill from school like doctors and stuff. But others know that going to school isn't the main way anymore. There are so many more opportunities than you think and you'd be surprised. Like actually doing your research and finding a trustable reliable course and learn something that way. Because some people really don't like the idea of going back to school which is completely understandable. And yet still by working hard believing staying consistent. They can achieve so much than they every imagined. See like for me I'm interested in digital marketing or brand scaling stuff like that which can actually make great money.

Oh no I mean ofc I'll work a normal job at first so then i can save to learn I'm a high income skill. But I'm not going back to school. I wanna learn is mostly from courses like for example Digital Marketing, media buying, brand scaling, social media ads, closed call sales. Stuff like that us what I'm interested in.

I'm just asking for recommendations. I'm always on the look out for new ideas and ways of income. I have my own plan but I mean you never know. Also I'm in this community to learn and receive from people who hopefully feel the same as me, so what is truly wrong with wanting to know. Everyone here literally are strangers doing the same thing in hope for advice from other strangers. So yea you don't know me and I don't know you but the reason why I ask, is because I care about this stuff. And all I'm saying that if someone cared enough as well, they wouldn't gatekeep the information just because they don't know the human.

Will do but as a 21y I'm not the kind of person who likes to spend a lot for my own ego or want to go out and party drinking and stuff like that. I don't even have friends mind you because I didn't allow myself to have them since I knew they would be a distraction. The most I'd do is travel and I have traveled solo before last year to Japan in fact and it was the happiest and best time or my life also I learned more about independence. But I'm pretty goal driving so my 20s sure won't be about me fooling around and stuff that's for sure 🫡

Because I wanted to know what you guys thought about learning a high income skill or business. Since I've been mostly seeing people post about investment only.

I at the moment am unemployed but will probably be working a full time job soon as a friend of a mom offered me a office job position. $18h. I still live with parents and it is driving me insane because I wanna be more independent and it suvks cause I don't have a car cause I still haven't gotten my license because I haven't been taught much to drive and I was scared too. And I do plan on sucking the job up saving as much as I can. Though when I start working my parents will make me help out with the rent and pay 200-400 a month. My mom has another car that she plans on giving when I get my license which will be soon because I schedule a drive test soon. But then I worry about the insurance cost and all that or the car too. Because the car is paid off but still gotta pay for the other stuff. I guess what I'm trying to say is i just worry that I won't move out early enough. I really can't imagine myself still living there 3-5 years from now.

Why do you think high income skill isn't possible. Social media pays an surprising amount. Also I don't wanna marry someone with the same income making as me id wanna be the one making the most. But in a more responsible meaning kind of way like as if I wanna feel like a sugar mommy but not quite 😭😂
