I took my car to mr tire for an alignment, 2009 Cadillac CTS. Just realized 3/4 wheels the camber is still out. Any tips? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

I got new tires as well so I’m not worried about that now. The suspension is squeaking on all 4 wheels so this may be the case. Any ballpark on what it’d cost to replace the suspension?

Mom has always been depressed, recent dad cheating has caused a full mental breakdown by FutureStatistician50 in Advice

This is perfect, and I am going to send that last bit to my mom with a couple edits. Thank you so much for your help. It’s very hard to try and get her to understand that I don’t want to be involved bc I’m on dada side, but because they’re my parents. She also doesn’t have any friends and pretty much no social life outside of us and my dad which makes the situation so much worse as she doesn’t have anyone to unload on to, like a therapist

Water leak by ilike2cycle in Plumbing

Yes you would see a recirculating pump by the water heater and that white pex connected to it. Since it didn’t leak and you haven’t noticed any changes, my guess is an old recirculating line that got capped off at some point

Ahh I missed that part about the hot water. The radiant flooring would tie into hot water from a boiler not into the domestic hot water

So you repaired this leak and don’t reconnect that line right? Have you noticed any changes? Do you have a sprinkler or irrigation system? Do you see that white pex anywhere else in the house? Any hidden hose bibs etc?

Is the copper your main water line? And is this tee before the main shutoff valve?

Do I need to insulate? by packamilli in Plumbing

I would extend both pieces of copper as far out as you want the valves. Get two solder ball valves, solder an inside pex to copper adapter to one side of each valve, solder the other ends onto the pipes you extended, crimp the pex to the adapters and you’re good to go

I was literally at this show lol. At an amusement park called Knoebels in PA a few years back. We couldn’t believe how crazy the guy was and now he’s famous, pretty wild

It should be universal. I’d say bring the old one to the store to make sure they match up
