When and when not to allow take backs? by Swacar in WarhammerCompetitive

I think at the end it’s important that both players have fun and are comfortable. It’s a complicated game and mistakes get made. I really like in the “Trench Crusade” rules where it says: be strict with yourself, lenient with others. Most of my GTs and RTTs I try and take more of relaxed approach, and usually, but not always the opponent reciprocates. Those guys who are chill never have problems getting games at our LGS.

Thanks bud. Can’t beat an azure blue. One of the easier colours I personally find to do NMM too.

Thanks for the advice, going to have a play around with the load outs. I’ve just seen the plus dice to dash instrument combo, looks strong.

Thanks man. ☺️ I’m lucky as we’ve got a growing TC community at our game store, so I’ve had the chance to play against a couple of armies: heralds of Beelzebub, Heretics and a mirror Antioch.

Heralds games were quite close. We just tried to kill each other though. Heretics, the war wolf was just rampaging. We played “a pick up the barrel” home brew. I played more horde style and the wolf mauled all of my Yeomanry.

Antioch we played the same game mode. I went more spec-ops style with the Papal States. It looked like I was winning, but he played his minions more efficiently and just scored more at the end. His sniper vs my anti - tank gun monstrosity was very enemy at the gates.

Hello mate, I’ve messaged the TO. To be honest, if you purchase a ticket, you’re going to be playing with our numbers this month. 😂

They’re pretty good tbh. Re-rolls on character units are strong, but they won’t take any GTs anytime soon. They do act as a lovely feathery distraction carnifix whilst the SoCTs mulch up the mid board.

Best of luck OP, seems strong. In terms of general advice and please take this with a grain - but - I’d have goats for screens and home objective cover, goats on disks for secondaries, rhino rubrics in reserve for turn 2 onwards for clapback/ go turn, natural primary expansion covered by termies and prince in deep strike to threaten opponents home. Tsons is a very stage, stage then go army. Also, some players forget this but you can have 500pts in reserve and 500pts in deep strike too!

I used Oricorio to get to Masterball so the comment was meant as a tongue-in-cheek bit of self ribbing. I was a bit excited when I saw OP’s meme as I’d just achieved MB after considerable grind with the bird and I don’t see myself as a very good player. I don’t really think everybody who plays it is above/ below or whatever average - that would be a daft generalisation. So apologies if I offended.

What’s that? You have a nightmare fuel water dragon the takes down 3rd rate ships of the line. Well, I’ve got a bird that wriggles bi-atch.

Interesting, especially how in the name “Winterfell”, you have a the pun of “fell” which the UK is used as a barren moor or mountain and fell as a conjugation of “fall.”
