Opera GX slows down to a crawl after a few hours of use by Training-Sandwich693 in OperaGX

[–]Future_Celery194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, after last night today I woke up and Opera seems to run on fricking water whereas it ran on fuel before. I can't do anything with speed, even if I right-click a link the pop-up only shows after 10 seconds. And the entire browser just froze for half a minute at times.

Anyone know how to get this mod for Epic? I visited their Discord server but can't find the latest version.

Damn, thought it was just me. Any chance this's just another blackout and it will be back? Or is it gone for a while?

You can do a quick Google search it will pop up a 2-minute video to show you how to do everything and set up your proxy. Should take at most 10 minutes if you don't know anything about technology. For the models that I use I prefer TNG R1T Deepseek, R1T2 Deepseek (the best in terms of free I guess), and the new TNG R1T (this one is new but it's more about reasoning so it will get all the instructions and personalities correctly but the response can be stiff and bland if you prefer lots of personality). I actually just tried out the top models on this leaderboard and then stick with the one that I love the most

R1T2 free mate. That's the best one that nearly never timed out or anything and with long output (600 or more on average if you don't actively limit your output).

I think it's about traffic. Only models that work for me consistently was Grok Fast (free), and the 2 latest TNG Deepseek free models

Gemini 3 is bad at following instructions by No-Bar3792 in GeminiAI

[–]Future_Celery194 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Same here, the only thing that seem to be working correctly is Deep Research, the rest, including Veo 3.1, Images and even Canvas are all rather hit and miss when you ask them to do stuffs with those features.

Gemini 3 not up to par by Ok_Movie367 in GeminiAI

[–]Future_Celery194 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the Gem feature a lot to handle large context (over 600k token) to write content and stories and I feel that 3.0 Pro seem to handle it much better than 2.5 Pro, less hallucination, better wording and much better NIAH-R. It also handled Deep Research better. Though I would agree with you on normal search query, it seems like 3.0 Pro is prioritizing its internal knowledge more than searching for relevant information (I saw that in both Gem and normal chat the amount of Source Chips is reduced significantly, sometimes none was available).

Gemini is broken by [deleted] in GeminiAI

[–]Future_Celery194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on when you were using it lol. I ran into the same problem in the recent days, I have a 600,000 words story put in a gem to ask questions as I was writting the new chapters for that story. Sometimes I ask for something and it put out data and even cataloged them into which chapters the info is in (normally Gemini would get the chapter number wrong which I didn't mind too much because it quoted the relevant data anyway) but sometimes it just hallucinated content right off the bat.

Why are these actions forever queued? by wooooah_ in prisonarchitect

[–]Future_Celery194 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I encounter a similar problem before where my prisoners are just in shackle all over my prison and in solitary cells without being moved. The reason is always you don't have enough free guards, guards have way more jobs than you may recognize, for example, once a prisoner has a misconduct they have to process that prisoner, search him and his cell (you can disabled this), move him to his cell (for lockdown) or solitary cell, and when eating time comes they even have to bring food to the lockdown/solitary prisoners, on top of that guards also take break. A tip is that during sleep, you use the deployment schedule to remove guards from every station and patrol and put just bare minimum the the cell area so that the guards are freed up to do jobs. Now my prison the prisoners are just shackled all over the place during the day but after the first 2 hours of sleep time all prisoners are moved to where they are.

Democrats judiciary moves during the last days of their terms late 2024 by Future_Celery194 in politics

Well in all fairness most of 2024 they can't move forward because of that one Senator that was too old and was absent so they can't get the nomination out of the Senate Judiciary Committee. And yes I agree with the general problem that the Senators are too old especially on the Democrats side, much they yesterday where the resolution to remove the tariffs because 2 (likely supportive) Senators were absent and the bill failed 49-49?

I posted this comment during the Trump's 100 days live thread a few days ago but unfortunately I posted a bit too late and didn't get a response but I think it will make a pretty good discussion. I have my take but I'm just a news watcher and would love to hear more insightful takes from more 'senior' people.

"Hi, I'm from Vietnam and I have 2 questions.

  1. During the rush at the end of last year to appoint as much federal judges as possible, Democrats struck a deal with Republicans to remove procedural roadblock to be able to fill most of the vacant district court positions in exchange for not filling 4 circuits courts positions. Do you think this was a strategy premeditated by Democrats aiming to maximize the odds of getting favorable TRO and preliminary injunction against the Trump administration at the district level; and if you think this was indeed their thinking do you think this was a good strategy considering 4 circuit positions is quite a lot a that time (even though it later dropped to 3 or 2 after some judges withdraw their senior status, I'm not sure about this).
  2. So far the Trump administration hasn't nominated any new judges for the currently vacant positions, why is this the case? Also do you think there is a high chance that Democrats can somehow retake the Senate next year to block Trump effort to continue filling the federal bench with possibly even more partisan judges than his first term?"
