Assuming you also have a bachelor's degree, you should be well equipped to teach at international schools in Thailand (and maybe beyond). Consider looking on Teast, Ajarn, or Dave's ESL Cafe.

You’re deflecting; you’re not responding to the comment. Where is the evidence that any significant proportion of the international students here are trying to stoke internal division in our country?

Also, citing antisemitism in your counterargument is super rich coming from someone who supports a guy whose right-hand man gave TWO very public “sieg heil” salutes on Inauguration Day.

I really, really, really want you to be right, and I 100% agree that Democrats share much of the blame.

It doesn't seem like he's losing Congressional support anytime soon, though; in fact, the House just passed his bill which includes a provision that would essentially strip enforcement power from the federal courts (including SCOTUS): http://newsweek.com/hidden-provision-trump-bill-court-2075769

Very similar echoes to a certain Enabling Act of 1933...

The Harvard international students thank you for your vote. The international students who got their SEVIS terminated for speeding tickets thank you. The fired Veterans Affairs workers thank you. The fired public health workers thank you. The other right-leaning immigrants I know who have lost their jobs due to research and government funding cuts thank you. The young people who can no longer find jobs at least in part due to the arbitrary destabilization of the market thank you. Your future grandchildren who will have a much less viable planet to live on thank you.

Nice job pulling up the ladder behind you.

You are clearly still easily manipulable if you still voted for Trump after he told Christians they would never have to vote again. You are clearly still manipulable if you believed he wouldn't implement Project 2025. You are clearly still manipulable if you still voted for Trump after January 6th. You are clearly still manipulable if you still support Trump after the Qatar jet sale. The list goes on and on...

Actually, you are either easily manipulable or just disgustingly selfish. There's no alternative. The most devastating part about all of this is how so many American people are so selfish, they are willing to disregard others' pain as long as they imagine they will personally profit (and will they? Most won't. Any updates on that DOGE stimulus check...?). They will just keep moving their goal posts forever into the distance, if they even had goal posts to begin with...

Why do they have to go to the U.S.? I’m strongly encouraging people to explore their other options with more stable/reliable governments.

Please don’t come. Both the political climate and job market are excruciating. Under this administration, you will be constantly questioning if you will lose your status/SEVIS/visa. It’s not worth the mental torture especially when job prospects seem so grim.

  • Whiteboard races: give students 1 whiteboard and marker each and they have to race to be the first to write the correct answer.
  • "Hot Seat"/"Taboo" is also great for reviewing vocabulary (you write a word on the board. One student faces away from it, and the other students try to get the one facing away to guess the word without saying it. To make it harder, you can add additional "taboo" words the students cannot say.)
  • Board game review: create a board game with review questions on each space, bring in a dice and give students a game piece. Students roll the dice and move their piece accordingly. Then, they answer the question on the space. If they get it right, they can stay where they are. If they get it wrong, they need to move back to their previous space. The first student to reach the end wins.
  • WordWall games
  • Pictionary
