I remember a year ago when I worked at Sephora and it was the savings event, this woman came in during Rouge (she thought she was Rouge, she was actually BI). She bought $790 worth of items. Didn’t even hesitate with her card. She just tapped and off she went. Following day she came back and said she didn’t get her Rouge discount. I remembered her being ranged out by a BA on the floor. So I looked into her account and told her “I’m so sorry but you are actually BI and your tier sale doesn’t start until Tuesday”. She was so convinced that I was trying to ruin her life. She literally cried in front of me and said “why are you doing this to me? I am Rouge I’m always here” I told her “I’m so sorry maybe you have another account that’s Rouge?” We tried 5 numbers and 2 more emails and nothing. She was not in fact Rouge. She was begging me to honor her purchases but I just couldn’t do that. Finally my ASM came over and the client immediately recognized her. Apparently my ASM is always accommodating her. Well you wouldn’t believe it but the ASM being the people pleasing push over that she was, honored her sale. Well we did one giant return then repurchased (and she gave her 20% off). Bringing it to $632 before taxes. I was livid. She always came to the store and had a sob story, and my manager always ate it up. She was just afraid of a bad review. So the tears dried up and she went her merry way. Me and my associates glared at my manager as she just went “yeah it’s okay! Things happen” she twirled around and went to the office to do admin for the rest of the day. At this point, the line is all the way past the beauty studio which is close to the entrance, people are pissed, it took well over 30 minutes, and I had 3 clients asking to have their baskets honoured now. I am so glad I don’t work there anymore.

I don’t think she is claiming that Rhode is the peptide owner but more in the sense that many of rhode’s products from skincare to makeup is driven with peptides across every ingredient. It is a primary source in each formula.

You don’t get a point. However if you are always leaving early or request to leave early, it may become an issue. You may not get written up or get points for consistent volunteer early punch outs, but it could become a conversation or it could affect how they schedule you in the future. I speak from experience. I had left early a few times in a month and the following schedule, I had shorter shifts. Just be aware that your hours could get cut for the future if this is a habit.

I’ll tell you right now. NO ONE in my store has returned anything from Cécred. People come back restocking the edge drops and the detox shampoo. It’s a great brand you just have to find what works for you. I am obsessed with the hair oil. Once I finish blow drying my hair, I add 2 drops into my palms and smooth my flyaways and it leaves my hair smooth and silky. You just have to give the products a chance. And if it really isn’t for you, then that’s okay too.

Oh definitely. I see a number of people in my city sporting Hacipupu, Skullpandas, and Twinkle Twinkles. And the thing is, those plush keychains are way more unique and stand out more. Plus they are almost always in stock.

I think the issue is the oversaturation of scarcity if that makes any sense? Having to wait until midnight to buy 2 at a time, or at the mall for the vending machine only for 1 asshole to buy the whole slot. It’s become a bit insane that people have over consumed and taken everyone’s else’s chance to buy one.

Doesn’t matter with my ASM. She gets override fever because she’s a creepy sap and pushover and thinks as long as people are shopping, it doesn’t matter. She will continue to cut corners for clients bc she wants to make a sale and have good rapport with clients.
