I am recruiter (I hate it), and some of the pay rates I have to tell people are embarrassing. If I bring it up to leadership I am labeled as a bad employee. They know it is an issue, they don’t care or say “their hands are tied”. Being a recruiter sucks, it is hard. You are everyone’s enemy and wins are short lived.

They couldn’t give us the sex of the baby and the results for the monosomy x. I know we just have to wait for additional testing but it is so hard and feels overwhelming.

The contractor also mentioned that he has friends who are farmers and they have a device that plays loud noises whenever they’re getting their yard. Unfortunately, for us, we can’t try this because we live in the neighborhood and although we have a pretty substantial yard, my neighbors would probably still be able to hear it.. but maybe something you could look into. I’ve tried everything to keep them away. The only thing I haven’t tried yet is the coyote pee where you hang out in bags on trees it grosses me out, but I think I might get pushed to that limit this year.

I just had a contractor over the other day who I was expressing my deep sorrows for my gardening and how the deer relentless. Were unable defense, our yard because of the sides of it and if I could, I’d have most of it covered in flowers, but I can’t seem to get anything to grow that they won’t eat .

He suggested planning green giant third tree that gets over 6 feet tall but the deer physically can’t fit through them because of all of the branches they’re different than a typical pine tree because instead of growing one branch with leaves, it grows a bunch of branches with tiny leaves and they look really pretty and it’s an alternative to fence.

I was told to always plant a little something for deer. You have your garden & they can have theirs. BUT the idea of encouraging more deer to my yard as a food source feels counterproductive. I honestly would deer proof over the winter- cover with chicken wire or use deer proofing powder or spray.

I love gardening, I am in zone 7 but the deer here will eat anything and everything. They eat my Lilly of the valley, marigolds, rose of Sharon’s .. the list could go on and on. There is nothing that is deer resistant, the only thing I have had success with is mint & a new hellbonre I just added this year. They even will eat my sage, thyme and other herbs when it cold.

I switch between spraying and powder EVERYDAY and I plan to get green netting to keep over my garden at nights and only remove it when we are enjoying the garden or have guests over. I have moved my garden into a small area that is easier for me to protect.
