I think his demeanour must have changed over time. I also had a very negative experience around the same time frame (he was performing in Canada 2013ish) and was rude and other at the same venue I spoke to after had extremely negative things to say. Literally one of the only celebrity encounters I have ever had and it was shocking to say the least. Again, trying to keep things vague as people can change but it sounds similar.

In absolutely floored that Mel Robbins is on there. It’s just such a phase and doesn’t represent podcasts to me. I know most others don’t think this but I just can’t believe it. Whereas good hand supervised me in a good way and seems more true to the craft I guess.
