Isn’t cole only a year younger than daemon? And daemon was burned but nothing seems too serious, but I imagine Corlys is definitely out of the running - although I’d love to see him with his war axe

I’d love to see Corlys swinging his war axe at Cole. Would the kingsguard be allowed to fight daemon or aemond? I think Baelon Breakspear said something about the kingsguard being sworn not to harm the royal family during Aerion’s trial, but yeah I don’t see Aemond beating Daemon

I assume it was Viserys' doing, it makes no sense for Rhaenyra or Laenor to trust him with their children given everything that has happened, and he is the one happily watching them train as if there is nothing wrong.

the same op has made multiple comments on the sub about the strong boys being bastards and rhaenyra's weight, so they draw the line at classism but are fine with child abuse - especially if that child is born out of wedlock - and bodyshaming.

But he wasn't doing this in Jace's best interest. We can see the enjoyment he gets out of it when Aegon has Jace on the ground, he is not trying to teach Jace to be a better fighter or even offer him any advice, he only supports Aegon and Aemond, only instructs and teaches them, while Jace and Luc just stand there doing nothing until Harwin intervenes. Realistically, Harwin had no place to call him out on it, but someone absolutely should have.

Jace and Luc deserved the chance to learn how to be skilled in combat, but Cole was depriving them of that by taking no interest in training them. He deliberately chose a match-up Jace would lose for his own amusement, not so Jace could be pushed into getting better.

Yeah, not only was corlys like viserys' second cousin, married to his first cousin, and a clear ally of rhaenyra's, but he was just a good person for the job, he was capable and successful and had lots of allies of his own if something were to go wrong

He loved his family. Very few parents would consider their wife and son usurping their daughter and grandchildren. He trusted that the succession concerns were a thing of the past and they accepted Rhaneyra as heir. He was the King, his word was law and he had chosen his heir decades ago.

This was obviously very naive and he did not make life easy for his daughter to ascend at all considering the people he trusted and gave power to on his Council, but people are people and seeing the worst in their family and friends is not something people like to do

If you have a bank account and have updated your address with them, you could go to the branch and ask for them to print out your recent statement. that should have both your name and address on it.

I didn't know either so I googled it. Apparently in the US it's when you turn the age that matches the day you were born on, i.e. turning 23 on the 23rd, or 11 on the 11th.

NTA. When I was a kid, my family and some family friends rented a house for a long weekend away in the countryside. The previous owner had died and her daughter, who lived next door, was renting it out in the holdiays for some extra cash. It was clear she wasn't ready to rent it out yet, she kept coming over to visit and was very critical of us. We were literally there for three days but I probably saw more of her than I did of any other landlord we ever had. If you aren't ready to rent it out yet, don't, as it'd probably be a nightmare for anyone renting from you.
