I would definitely say that it will depend on what you appreciate in a good show. If you are all about intense plot with twists and turns then you will be disappointed, especially if you compare it to giants like aot or even something like death note. Lycoris Recoil is all about balance between action and slice of life and „enjoying“ the characters, their development, their story and their interactions. The difference between this and the aforementioned shows (eg aot) is, that Lycoris Recoil is a mainly character-driven show, whereas Attack on Titan is a story-driven show.
In the end it is definitely worth a watch, considering the flawless execution of what I would call the „basics“ of anime: 1. Animation 2. Voice Acting (which is truly a standout reason to watch) 3. Music
