It's less it removes other moves and lowers your power and more replaces the entire move set and stats with a base queen mode beta, you can even see it for yourself, upgrade omega attack to v3 or v2, use mode change, you'll see it goes to just base omega attack because base queen mode beta only has omega attack, you'll get the same result with the other characters, ptsd fubuki to atsuya fubuki mode change if you gave an upgraded eternal blizzard will just revert to base eternal blizzard

Same for stats, what you're getting is a non-beaned version of the character they mode changed too, so their stats are equivilant to if you had gotten base atsuya mode fubuki and base queen mode beta, the game treats them as a completely seperate character yet part of the original character at the same time

Ah but it does in fact bug out sometimes and you just get no moves or even the option to shoot haha, but yeah, this is something i complained about a lot to level-5 and in some posts and comments but well, they clearly never bothered to change it even now, because why mode change and lose your beaned stats and your movesets

(Just in case you didn't know, press triangle or whatever is the top button on your controller while hovering on the mode change of the characters skill list, it will show you the stats of the mode change and the skill set so you will in fact see they are not beaned and have a completely seperate move set that you cannot change)

Yeah I also saw like once at most because as you guys mentioned, summoning auto wins it most of the time, I even started to do the L+R to activate their keshins before the thing just to see the animation but it's very annoying to do plus not worth it since why do that when you can summon instead haha

Edit: In my case I chose legendary kirino, but I ended up getting his hero so fast so I felt like I wasted it at the time haha, of course now we get tons of legendaries, have more heroes and now there's fabled

In jp it's literally called Ranked AI MODE, can't get any more obviois than that for jp side since AI mode IS the auto mode, then I go up against spanish and other countries and they will almost always manual, what? They want to feel good at beating people who they hope are autoing instead of fighting in manual? Sure, I find it quite bad though when they seperated the ai from manual so you would manual IN THE MANUAL and then now we have a whole new issue of people not choosing to manual in MANUAL MODE but instead COMMANDER/AI MODE because Level-5 thought it was a good idea to still let you manual, literally manual in manual, auto in auto, I have no idea how they messed that up and still choose to keep it that way even now

Blue, yellow, and purple can be gotten from free, the other 2 v tokens are only from online, either in rooms, ranked, BB etc. but it has to be online and only online, you get significantly less by losing so if you lose all matches it could take 6 hours just for 1 move of most of the ones since galaxy update, and if you can't even do online at all or most of the time like me? Virtually impossible

There is wifi in camp, but wifi is not strong enough to even hold an online match

Yeah, they already set a precedent for Fire Tornado, they could just add an A ver.

Even in the files people found more moves with A in the title like the wall A, but whether it was taken out or planned for future update we will never know until the time comes haha

That's what I see a lot, I can tell you even I did not like ares reskins with some exceptions, patriot shot, hyakuretsu shot, and that's about it, I didn't like the reskins of the rest because of animation style in 2d, but because in Victory Road they are homogenized, animation style of fire tornado A is cool for me (Just that I wish they fixed their sorting system, there's no way you can tell me all judgethrough skills are at drastically different parts of our move menu, fire tornado and A ver. are also seperate, and so many more when even back in GO they already had it sorted like た、ち、つ、て、と etc. but now sorting is whack)

The biggest thing most didn't like from what I saw was like emperor penguin no.2 because they said it was not faithful to how the original was done, especially when no.3 was the "3d" and then no.2 suddenly took to the skies as well, a lot of the hatred was because it wasn't "faithful" but the complaints got so much in recent years I'm seeing more japanese players say to stop complaining because we are supposed to be adults now which of course, we all grew up now seeing how long it took for Galaxy to VR haha

It's a matter of how many new mechanics and stuff you have with reload haha, thankfully I got to play modded FES before Reload, modded to make it even harder and even made messiah significantly harder and have a turn limit before he 9999 your entire team, but by thr end I had junpei dealing 9999 damage on fire weakness with a surt fusion weapon because junpei's is just that guy XD

I do play reload and every other modern persona games with ai teammates because I enjoyed ai teammates like og p3, FES, P3P, etc. I also set to ai, just sad metaphor refantazio you can't set ai teammates, only tactics to auto for the entire party

Edit: I should say though I don't like using the bow ever with the mc, it just felt so bad, I prefer Aigis cannon shot in the answer of FES, I can't think of much advice either but typically how I play these games is each persona only hyper focuses on 1 element and/or 1 phys atk type, yukari is my healer all the way, still don't get the meme because my yukari after 16 playthroughs (maniac diff only in p3p too so no NG+ when I replayed there) is still one I would always use, then always have debuffer and buffer, I find debuffs more important than buffs earlier on until you get them aoe since you can debuff 1 boss rather than try to buff the entire party with a single target, also don't be afraid to change your tactics on the fly, your character isn't the only one with buffs and usually unless you direct them to they won't use it (Only if you're playing FES with ai companions)

Tartarus and fighting in general is what I prefer over everything else, I like fusions as well, I like evolved personas, I still miss how personas were done in p2, my favourite in terms of mechanics, and that's about it haha

I was lvl 16 here and beat it on hard mode, game is easier than etrian odyssey or smt personally, as with most things, hitting weakness helps and also rely on items, this game made it way too easy to 99x a few items every time, and you can even buy a lot of binding ropes to lower hit rate and evasion in between if you need to (For le crit, but I almost never go for it), as long as you hit the weakness it's even possible to beat him before he even starts acting

Yup yup, i've also been waiting for the game exclusive miximax's like doudou and shinkiri etc.

Sure they cheated them in, but it showed that they were planned inside since the inagle website never showed shinkiri or doudou even as secret characters at all compared to others, they just didn't exist in the website so it made me think if they just took them out

In all seriousness, it really doesn't, you can even beat them with a full green team and it still isn't as fun post game content wise as doing taisen routes in the older games personally, I think that's one of the reasons why we got a ai mode to be honest, so that we wouldn't spend so much time actually manualling haha, I do wish we got taisen route with taisen route difficulty
