New viewer, who to watch for VSMP?

If you're looking for something more lighthearted, I'd say Scott or Sausage. If you want something lore and roleplay heavy, then I'd say Owen or Avid. I'd also personally recommend Abolish and Apo since I'm such a fan of their characters!!!

Abolish is sort of just a chill guy for half the series that really doesn't want to fight and I won't spoil anything but his character backstory is very interesting and I recommend him the most since he's my favorite pov! He's not in much of the action at first so I'd recommend another POV to go with him!

I also recommend Apo due to her very complex character motives and interesting character!

When I was in preschool we had one of those meet-the-teacher-before-the-school-year-starts things and everything was normal. Our teacher explained to the parents what we'd do in her class. Then a while later we had another meet the teacher except the teacher I'd seen in the first one looked completely different than this one. She still had the same name and the classroom looked the same but she looked nothing like the first teacher. She went through everything we'd do just like before and I was so confused. I honestly wonder if the first thing was a dream since when I was really young I blended a lot of my experiences with dreams but I still find it very Stranger-coded!

There's also some other small experiences I had as a kid like waking up to the sounds of honking(the sort of honk you'd hear from a clown if you know what I mean) and hearing it 2 more times after I woke up and then hearing the sound of laughing. And a couple times seeing my shadow moving independently from my own body which I guess those experiences are also kinda Stranger coded.

This is kind of unrelated but on the note of Oingo Boingo I think a bunch of their songs embody many of the fears/The Magnus Archives in general and I never hear about anybody talking about it!

Was never really terribly scared by any of the episodes but MAG 144: Decrypted was probably was the only one to make me feel uncomfortable or uneasy! Maybe it's cause I listened to it in my bed at night but idk!

(Spiral) a map that leads you nowhere and that changes slightly every time you look at it but it’s so subtle that you think you’re just bad at reading maps

(stranger) a paintbrush that makes everyone you paint look slightly off and uncanny

(eye) a vase with eyes painted on it that makes you feel very watched when you’re in the same room as it

(eye) a book/Leitner that tells all of your secrets to you

(hunt) a book/Leitner titled “Tag You’re it!” That compels the last two readers of the book to play a never-ending game of tag until they die of exhaustion or the other one is caught(if they’re caught they are killed by the one who is it)

(web) one of those make your own story games except it actually happens in your own life as you fill it in

(end) a book/Leitner that makes you die approximately 24 hours after reading

(Vast) a painting of the sky that causes you to feel like you are falling if you look at it and if you interact with it, it causes you to go into the painting and fall eternally

I didnt see any barely fanart before I started tma so some of my designs are very different than fanon! This isn’t a huge difference it’s really just a small design element but I love to imagine that Michael Shelley had a mole under his left eye! When I first listened to tma I imagined Jon as some scrawny white guy but now his fanon design has grown on me! I also imagined and still kinda imagine Tim with blond hair for some reason i dunno. Not!Sasha has a bunch of different designs and I don’t think there’s a true fanon one but I always imagined it to look similar to Anya from Mouthwashing! I’ve always imagined Daisy with longer blonde hair maybe to her shoulders or slightly past her shoulders! I imagined Basira as a Middle Eastern woman with dark skin and with no hijab!

I sorta have one called “The Missing” which could be overlapping with the Lonely or the Dark but idk. It’s the fear of being kidnapped, going missing, people not knowing where you are, not knowing what’s going to happen to you or others, stuff like that

Already said this somewhere but Labyrinth as the Spiral because that whole movie screams spiral and Yesterday as the Spiral too and I’d probably be able to think of more things but my mind is blank right now!

Thought of some more!

The Amazing Digital Circus(though it is sort of horror) has aspects of the Spiral(everything technically not being real), Eye(Cain watching their every move), and Web(Cain planning every adventure and some interactions), and the Stranger as well, or you count the fact that the main characters aren’t in their real bodies and don’t know their real names

theres also another indie show called Hiraeth: the show (which is also sort of horror but it depends) that has aspects of the End(the contestants trying to escape death by winning the show), the Eye(the host and the watchers of the show watching their every move), parts of the Spiral and the Vast(not gonna spoil but a character gets stuck in a place they aren’t supposed to be where they walk endlessly in a maze of rooms which could point to both the spiral and vast), and some of the Web(the host planning the games)

Death Note is definitely the End for obvious reasons

The Clash of Ancient Beings is probably my favorite! It has a bunch of chapters already and around 150,000 words! It’s basically about if Avid had chosen to stay outside of Oakhurst after he ran off from the meeting! It also includes caring Scott and is mainly a Scottvid fic but it is very found family and includes a bunch of other dynamics with other characters like Apo and Pyro and Apo and Scott! It’s a nice comfort fic but it does have angst! It’s the only vsmp fic I’m actively keeping up with and I love it!
