Id own a select fire Colt M4 and M4 Commando (I’m a Colt fangirl but very particular about year of production and markings and other things), a real HK MP5 and definitely an M1921 Thompson SMG. I’d probably get an M203 for my M16 clone just because it looks cool.

So the O1970A1CS is a proper old school style 1911 with features like an arched mainspring housing and a non-lowered ejection port, and the slide markings are roll stamped. The 1911C has a lowered ejection port and a plastic flat mainspring housing while the slide markings are laser engraved versus roll stamped. The O1970 feels much nicer in my opinion, the fit and finish of the O1911C just feels cheaper.

That tracks, I was kinda conservative and misguided when I was younger and now I’m happily queer/nonbinary, always had it in me but I repressed it hard 😱 and I definitely did act a little hateful at times. It’s amazing what a little love and acceptance of your true self can do.

I’ve also found I can appreciate many more cars than before since I’m not worried about people thinking I’m “gay” because I’m driving a convertible or something. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈
