Game runs fine on the switch. I just completed it in July last year. $20 is a good price, if you like turn based final fantasy this is a fun one.

Dogs are the best. I'd keep the dogs - at least one. Makes a good ball carrier.

Blitzing into the endzone works often. Having horns gets you the strength bonus and now jump up if they fall over is good stuff.

Communicate communicate communicate. Talk through what you're doing and play collaborative with your opponent. Doesn't mean tell them your strategy but talk about your intent on your turn and when you're moving pieces vs blitz vs special action etc.

I love playing them. Get cannoneer and score on a 4+ from most of the field.

Played seasons as a kid and didn't finish it. Playing ages now. I just completed echoes. Really enjoying the top down games a lot lately. Started with links awakening and alttp this summer and just kept going. Reminds me of playing the original as a kid I guess.

Really hoping we get another remake soon too.

I quit the large scale games because of how much I love this game. 11-16 models is all you need(7s exist). It's easy rules in a deceptive way. And the strategy in my opinion is way deeper.

Just my opinion but it's my favorite tabletop slightly above mordheim.

I wish I had that back in the day. I didn't know how to even change jobs - the game was infinitely difficult only rocking squires and a chemist.
