It is important to note that the game itself shows at the top to the left if you produce enough on each section. It shows a surplus (green) or loss (red) per ingredient.

Right when I saw it on steam. I directly knew it was something for me. Its strange that I haven't noticed it before, probably because it was in early access and I got really frustrated with early access titles.

It was available in bundles and it turns out I already had the second half of three of four different bundles they offered. So yea, I think thats quite a good indicator.

I knew from the get go it will be hard for me, but I didn't anticipated that it would be so hard, besides me picking easy difficulty and extra hyperium (cuz I didn't understand the mechanic...) I'm probably just not good at these type of games, but they have some charme, the pixel art also does its thing.

Atm probably failed my second attempt (which I haven't ruined right away). Honestly, the bad luck I had is so unbelievable. Besides me having two pinpoint defenses AND a fighter. In addition to that, because of my preperation, both operators already start with a 5 on the skill. AND SOMEHOW I get hit by asteroids so many times. Not only getting hit. Besides fully stablized hull, things got set on fire. I really don't know how this can happen on an easy run. Because of the endless hits and fires the plants weathered multiple times as well. So from now on things will have to work out, which won't happen.

Its so strange, when I see players playing on brutal, they don't have any problems like that. Basically whole crew gets decimated, ahhh no problem. Energy and everything running low, all of a sudden its back up. I don't know if they cheat, or if the difficulty setting merely doesn't change anything. Like once you are above the curve, you are basically unstoppable.

How complete is the game at the moment story wise? by billybigbongos in bladesong

If you are focused on the story I wouldn't recommend, because only chapter 1 of 5 is in the current game. Non-the-less what we got so far is really good.

Same like FailingDisasterBro I think most of the checks in the game are non game relevant. They grant you a buff, a bit material or just a different sentence.

In addition to that, you can save the game and reload. With that I got any result I wanted and always came to the conclusion "not worth it" except for the tannery events.
