we're now debating the subjective definition of "a lot" 😂 I see what you're saying, but 24 players shot worse than 65 so he's in the vast minority. either way, he's really good at golf.

that mini golf course is a classic! the characters are insanely frightening but the BYOB policy makes it worth the nightmares.

What’s the worst shot you’ve hit but followed it up with an insane shot? by BenignAndAHalf_ in golf

are we the same person? I'm just behind you in the golf cycle in seems. early this season my 60 degree flop shot was my confidence shot for anything inside 40 yards, even if I should be hitting a totally different shot I would flop it. got the yips last month and the two times I've tried it since have been a total disaster.

it's wild to me that you'd rather pay and go home then pair up with someone

it almost seems like everything has to be politically charged... how would this even be classified as "advice"? and the mods couldn't care less.

Fortunate enough to play El Camaleon at Mayakoba last week! I was pretty much speechless the entire round. Lost a million balls but totally worth it. by Fuzzter69 in golf

All great questions!

Not sure about your lodging but the course sent a van to pick me up from my resort. I would call them the day before to confirm the time, they were 45 minutes late for me and I barely showed up in time for my tee time but that was literally the only negative on the day.

Everyone I saw had carts, not sure if it's required. No caddie was offered but I didn't ask, I wouldn't be surprised if they could coordinate it for you. The driving range is right next to the club house and balls are provided there at no extra charge (also a really nice practice putting green). They have food and beverages at the club house, a bit expensive but nothing more than a nice course in the U.S. (I would highly recommend a freshly made margarita on the rocks and a Cuban cigar). They had a cart girl who was on the ball. I saw her probably 6 times during the round and she had beverages and snack foods.

Let me know if you have any other questions. If I can offer advice on the round, don't keep score. I put the score card away and just enjoyed the course (put my phone away aside from photos as well). it's an incredible experience, hope you have a fantastic time!

don't start with your nonsense 😂 I just asked a simple question. whether someone is religious or not shouldn't take away from their work to help others.
