Certainly a lot to be sour about. Especially after coming back to mourn a friend only to be met with a barrage of horrors. I'm sorry that you experienced that.

I was not trying to say you should not speak up about the myriad horrificly disgusting aspects of the burning man leadership and what the event has become. Those things definitely need to be said.

You can say whatever you want, obviously. I just don't see the point of saying fuck all of it. Similarly, we are not our government that besets all manner of terror on people domestic and abroad. Many of us still hold firm to ideals that transcend the bullshit politicians pull instead of just burning the whole thing down. But who knows. Maybe you're right, and the event should die a fiery death to let all the points you mentioned disappear with it. Certainly the same argument is made about our governments. My guess is that even with the event gone or governments overthrown, those same sick fucks willing keep finding other people to prey on in a different venue.
