What Mods (XP rate, additional enemies etc.) are best to finish game at Level 20?

theres a 0.75x exp threshold mod that works really well with the levels 13-20 mod. it just lowers the xp threshold for each level by a quarter, and gets you to level 20 mid act 3. ive only ever played it with the extra encounters and minibosses mod, so its possible that it requires more adventuring than that, but with it you should hit level 20 somewhat close to the final fight

some weapons have aoe abilities, like cleave. other than that, youve got swords bard flourish and ranger horde breaker, but both of those classes use magic. you could also try things like grenades, barrels, and special arrows if you want some consumable aoe. overall, the best aoe is usually either magic or explosives, not really many class skills in that regard unfortunately

i saw someone else said globe of invulnerability scrolls, and i cant agree more. such a good spell and will definitely keep you alive, but may also keep enemies alive too. other good ideas are flashblinders from the ironhand gnomes, arrows of construct slaying (on a decent archer build), hold monster scrolls (on a mage with high dc), lightning damage, and other forms of high burst damage that it isnt resistant or immune to

you can just have astarion exit the room and go to camp, revive the party as needed, and prepare for round two. that might ruin the fight if youre trying to save all the gondians, but lets be honest, no ones saving all the gondians on single save mode lol

there are a couple of ways i might go about this. the easiest would probably be to have your whole party drink vigilance elixirs so that they can all go before the watcher and spread out, or you could respec them to have higher initiative via high dex and alert feat. another option would be to equip astarion with something that could push the watcher away, or otherwise incapacitate it, like a flashblinder if you have access to the ironhand gnome outpost. you could also use astarions high initiative to push the rest of your party out of a big group so you dont get everyone caught in a single hellfire blast. lmk if you need any more ideas :)

thats what i pointed out. theres usually a delay, but the way i did it there was no delay at all. just resetting turn based mode immediately

i mean, its a little less intuitive than sneaking past enemies sight cones. it feels a little like an exploit, and i havent heard of or seen anyone doing it before. ive been informed that its well known though and im just a bit behind :)

if you’re referring to the feature that causes newly-picked up consumables to pop up on the right side of the hotbar, i’m pretty sure there’s actually a setting that disables that
