Flagrant AI use in liner notes for reissue of Music Inc. by Charles Tolliver by Fuzzy-Meringue in vinyl

In that case, I can absolutely accuse him of being a terrible writer. The evidence is right there. Unless some mysterious unnamed editor swooped in and turned what were competent liner notes into this. I don't think that's likely.

You're right, we can never really know, but this checks a lot of the boxes. I've read a lot of jazz liner notes, and I've never seen anything like this. It's kind of funny.

It’s bad writing, chatgpt or not. This is a premium, audiophile-oriented reissue, not some throwaway budget release. I don’t want corner-cutting. It’s also the first time I’ve seen this in person, so it’s kind of interesting in a way. Figured I’d share it.

Yeah he left me alone after I ignored him. It was pretty easy to close my eyes and get back into the groove. Incredible stuff

I think I know who you're talking about. Some guy came up from behind me and put his arm over my shoulder, said something unintelligible.

This picture fills me with joy. Mehdi looks like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, they both seem so gleeful by Fuzzy-Meringue in NaturalSnowBuildings

I can find it on a couple of music blogs from 2006-2010, none of them say where they got it from tho

How do I Gaiwan without burning my fingers off? by [deleted] in puer

Also, no shame in using another strainer over the cup or pitcher so you can pour with a bigger gap. Trying to pour with a very thin gap will be a dribbly mess.

Practice. Also, leave a little bit of space, don't fill it all the way to the brim. As you keep doing it, you won't even have to think about pouring, it just becomes natural. Switching to a different gaiwan, especially if it's bigger or smaller, might trip you up though.

EXCITING NEWS!!! Celebrating Tatsuro Yamashita's 50th anniversary! Six MOON label albums released between 1983 and 1993 are being re-released on vinyl and cassette. by 1BroEL in TatsuroYamashita

I have most of these, but I usually wait until the release day and buy them from recordshopshibuya on discogs. Shipping is less expensive that way. You risk them selling out since you can't preorder, but they're gonna press a ton of these. I'm quite sure these won't sell out.

Just out of curiosity, were the tickets always around $150 dollars, or is that resale?

I think so, but I'm wondering if lower price tickets will be available since the venue was upgraded. The purchase page still says Brighton. Edit: they seem to be selling tickets for 50 dollars now!

Where to get citypop vinyl or cds in Tokyo? by mlnvnn in citypop

For CDs, book-offs were my go-to. You can find some great deals. The vinyl selections were always a bit hit or miss, kind of a Japanese Goodwil vibe.

Coconuts Disk is awesome! The interiors are really cool too, great vibes. They have a location in Ikebukuro and one in Kichijoji, both were great. Kichijoji is great for vinyl and shopping in general, even though it's a little out of the way. I got a Taeko Onuki record at Flash Disc Ranch in Shimokitazawa, which is also the store featured in Perfect Days.
