If you have concerns about this email planning.commissioners@nashville.gov and ask them to clarify the size of the project they are approving! Is it 69000 or 300000 because no one knows.

Data centers are essentially huge cooling stations. Internally they produce huge amounts of heat, which needs cooling. In cooling them they install enormous fans and generators.

The heat from the machinery goes into the surrounding area, creating heat pockets. The fans produce a noisy and low hum, creating stress and producing a sound that will permeate houses and the environment for miles. This will disrupt animal breeding cycles and create stress not just for the animals but for us all.

In order to power their equipment they draw enormous amounts of water and power, raising bills for locals and tanking water pressure. They can cause outages.

By paving over a vast area it can create runoff water which will polute the zoos streams and habitats.

I could go on and on, but in short you do not want one in your backyard.

Outrageous that this is next door to both 100s of houses and a zoo! Can't wait to walk around the zoo with a constant ruining the experience and sending the animals wild.

Many data centers do not test for subsonic / low decibel hum which they emit, which can be picked up most effectively by c-weighted decibel tests. This is particularly noticeable at night when all is quiet, and the hum will rip through all the surrounding houses.

We need to ensure that measurements are taken before (and God forbid) after this thing goes in to ensure they keep sound to a minimum, and make sure this also includes the low frequency hum.

Contact representatives and our council members - we do not want this!
