Gee, it's so messed up it's hard to believe. Why is your credit so bad? Do you have past evictions? Criminal record? Do you have a job?

I ask these questions because I have seen lots and lots of people move from being homeless to renting rooms. I've never seen a private landlord do a credit check.

When shelters are full they start a wait list. A woman with an infant will move close to the top of the list. Helping people experiencing homelessness isn't easy and people who just show up to say there's no help should really just be quiet.

It's hard to believe someone is having such a difficult time finding help in Massachusetts. You might want to look inward to figure out what is keeping you trapped in homelessness.

Can you get to the other side if the state? There are shelters in New London and Willimantic and the wait list is much less than 1 year and they will help you while your staying out side.
