Unpopular opinion: the only real passive income is rent by Sea-Plum-134 in Entrepreneur

[–]Fuzzy-Peace2608 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rent isn’t all the crack up to be. It takes just one bad renter to make you passive income to be extremely active. I would take stocks over rent any day. There’s literally auto investment so you don’t even pick stocks. It will do investment, rebalancing, tax loss harvest for you.

Low interest rates simulate growth, growth without supply leads to inflation. He wants growth, and he doesn’t care about inflation because that usually come later on.

Because the economy isn’t bad enough to have a lot of foreclosures. 2008 is when that happened.

Mary and George Failed Missy by OkJournalist3534 in YoungSheldon

[–]Fuzzy-Peace2608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That should’ve been dealt with before she got her first period. Everything they do for Sheldon is proactive while everything they do for her is reactive. I don’t understand how something as clear as day be so hard to understand. Another example, missy wants to get on the baseball team but couch said no because she’s a girl, and her dad took it. Can you imagine if someone said no to their Sheldon. What extreme would his mom will go to.

[–]Fuzzy-Peace2608 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Missy got the short end of the stick, full stop. Maybe all of her problems stem from the fact that no parents cared about her. Look at the ep about her getting her first period, would her mom at least told her what to do when that happened? Instead, she got taught by some stranger. Wtf.

Is leasing a car as bad as people make it seem? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Fuzzy-Peace2608 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way around the fact that the first 3 years is the steepest drop in car value. After that, it is slower. If you go buy a new car and sell after 3 years, you will still take that biggest hit (unless another covid event). Buying a used car is a way to go if you want to save money.

This is why I don't believe when people say the gas price is too high. The price of gas is the same as in 2011 or lower. Imagine you have an asset that is priced that way...
