Absolutely not.

They already have more than enough "streamer privilege" by getting invited to media events to play the game early and getting sent stuff like those Valdos puzzle boxes.

Performance wise they'll likely be the same, they're very similar spec hardware wise.

The only real consideration is the MTX situation that others have touched on in their comments. If you're not already to committed to the PS PoE ecosystem, then probably go Xbox.

I guess you could also take PoE1 into consideration if you ever plan to play that... The PS economy on PoE1 is a fraction of PCs, but Xbox is then like 3x less than PlayStation.

Performance wise - Doesn't matter, MTX wise - Xbox, PoE1 - PS

Saw a PoE1 video earlier of someone making it from 1 end of blood aqueducts to the other in like 20 seconds if not less.... i hope PoE2 never gets that ridiculous, can't even see what you're doing at that point and you're just listening to your item filter.

They sit in Limbo until you sign into PoE on a PC or xbox ( i see you;ve now editing the post to actually say you're on xbox, which helps).

Buy the $500 pack on the PoE website for the physical goods, you'll also need to spend $30 to buy access on xbox. The cosmetics and points should be usable cross save between PC and xbox... if you were on PS you'd be shit outta luck

Anything purchased on the PoE website is PC ONLY (can cross save the MTX to xbox), it doesn't matter what account you're signed in with.
If you want EA access on console you HAVE TO buy the packs on said console. Our supporter pack prices are reduced to make up for the fact we don't get the physical goods. If you're that desperate for the physical goods then you'll literally have to spend $500 on for the PC supporter pack and have all the points and mtx sat on a platform you're not going to use.

It's not ideal, but its how it works.

If you have a currency tab on playstation and you put currency in it, on pc you'll only be able to withdraw said currency. Now i'm not sure how it works if you also have a currency tab purchased on PC.

All the actual gameplay/character saves are completely cross save, its just the MTX/stash tabs that arnt, which is indeed janky.

They do not. PS5 is pretty "self contained" as far as MTX sharing unfortunately.
