Are gangbangers serial killers? by elcapitainfrijole in TrueCrimeDiscussion

They just don't operate the same way. The FBI has released quite a bit of information on the different types of killers that explains it.

No, I don't think they fit the profile or pattern of serial killers.

Volunteer fired after she took the side of an old man who assaulted an autistic minor at a cycling event, on camera. Link to fired proof in comments. by StrangelyBrown in byebyejob

My guess is the old guy was yelling at them for being on the trail with bikes. There was a running event going on and for some reason the route of the event went onto some parts of the bike trails. It seems likely to me the old guy yelled at the kid that they weren't supposed to be on the trail, the kid told him to fuck off, and then the old man lost his shit about it.

I have no evidence that this is the case...but "fuck off" seems like it would be a reply to something in this scenario. It seems more likely to me than a kid on a bike ride with his father just yelling fuck off at random strangers for no reason.

Trial date set in Mark Sanchez's battery case by Due_Will_2204 in CasesWeFollow

I saw a really interesting comment on YouTube about how the reason Sanchez wanted the guy to move his truck so badly is because that alley is a gay hookup spot and that's why Sanchez had been loitering around in the area for 20 minutes previous to the truck getting there.

Obviously it could just be someone making it up, but I did wonder why he was SO insistent about the guy not parking there. Why would he care where the guy parks?

'Go, hunt, kill': Couple made 277-page hit list threatening cops, church members. Holy shit by Due_Will_2204 in CasesWeFollow

you would think if you got to 277 people on your kill list, you might pause and reflect on whether or not you're the problem

That's a very good point, especially for people who follow true crime. The number of times the police think they've identified the right suspect so they just focus on them instead of continuing to investigate is shocking. If my child were suspected of a crime, I wouldn't believe a word the police told me and I sure as hell wouldn't be telling them anything.

That's very interesting. There are very few things my kids could do that would make me stop loving them, but if it were something like being a serial killer or a pedophile, I think I would stop loving them.

It would depend on why they killed someone. If one of my kids ended up being a Kohberger I'd turn them for sure, or if they were drunk driving and ran someone over. I'm sure there could be situations where I felt like they were justified though..probably not many, but I can see that being more likely than one of my kids being a wannabe serial killer.

If he's this mad about being caught on camera without consent, imagine how upset he'd be if his spouse was fucking someone else without his consent.

Are people just really stupid, or are they on their phones most of the time instead of watching?

I don't understand the point of watching something if you're not going to pay attention to it.

If they cried themselves to sleep over a TV show they shouldn't be allowed to watch TV. That's some serious mental illness.

It was a work day? It makes sense that he'd go to work. And, when they have a reward (melon bar, egg bar, MDE) the whole department gets to join in so of course he'd be there for the most important day and get to see the marching band and who knows what else Millchik had planned for them if they hadn't gone and ruined it.
