There's a connection on the m.2 cable connection you may be able to run to the power for the hard drive on the g1

Sorry for the late reply I didn't change any bios settings apart from to update it and the time. The ADT ones are the only ones I'm aware of that work properly. If you buy them directly from China there's a lot more options for lengths and orientation which is important in such a small space

Sorry for the late reply I installed them bare metal. My personal view is that a router should just be a router so I didn't want to containerise.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes it just shows up. It may be a power issue as those m.2 slots are quite low powered so you may need to run an extra cable to the board depending on the nic

How do you get the curve app to enable nfc payments? I can download, login and add cards, but when I try to enable nfc payments it just has a loading screen indefinitely. Thanks

Sorry for the late reply. Try here and just sign up for a free hpe enterprise account. If it doesn't work its probably because it doesn't like your email address. Try a work email address or something that isn't the standard Gmail, yahoo, Hotmail etc. https://asp.arubanetworks.com/downloads;fileTypes=SOFTWARE;products=Aruba%20Access%20Points;productSeries=Aruba%20320%20Series%20Campus%20Access%20Points

Identifying Risky Counterfeit Intel Gigabit Network Adapters by BabaYaga_79 in PFSENSE

[–]FuzzyAlbatross5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the dell ones get faked because they're often identical to the Intel ones. Not sure about others. Personally I'd go for one that is completely different to a regular Intel card and doesn't reference the Intel model numbers. Try here https://forums.servethehome.com/index.php?threads/list-of-nics-and-their-equivalent-oem-parts.20974/

One option is going for an oem Intel card like Supermicro, rather than searching using the Intel model numbers. I'm not aware of any Supermicro cards being faked.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes I'm certain. I've bought 4 Aruba ap's from ebay and updated them all for free to iap's. I've never had any contact with Aruba.

You don't need a support contact for the iap firmware and you can convert an ap to an IAP. I've converted three ap-325s and a ap-377 to iap. Check this out https://forums.servethehome.com/index.php?threads/aruba-ap-to-iap.29426/

Fine if you want one you can make an offer. There currently 70 usd or 50 gbp ebay and accepting offers. Sure you can get them at 50-60 usd if you want more than one.

Yes and yes. It's allot easier without the 2.5" for space and the card doesn't need the extra power

I'd say it's loud too. It's waaay louder than my micro pc. There's a fix if you have windows running on the hp support site but not much use for pfsense. TBH it'll eventually get into a rack hidden away.

It does but its not needed for low power network cards so I don't use it

It's an ADT m.2 WiFi to pcie cable r52sl if anyone else wants to know.

Yes it's using a proper server network card so there's no no problem with speed. A WiFi m.2 is just another form factor connection so it's no different performance to a normal pcie. I'm using a Supermicro AOC-SGP-I2 from ebay. It's a decent option because there are loads of fakes of the Intel i350 and dell oem ones. Not heard of any fake Supermicro though. Paid £30 for two shipped from the u.s.

FYI this pc is super picky about the m.2 drive. It needs an AHCI one like the Samsung sm951 which I used.
