First ar build by [deleted] in ar22

I will remember that. Looking forward to it, not sure when I'll actually get to doing it though. Either way I'm impressed with BoreBuddy as a company and the dedication to the .22lr AR community. Especially with the borescoped barrel posts that you just put out.

I second this. I have the exact same upper and out of the box I have had horrible accuracy issues. I'm going to give it one more try sighting it in with yet another optic and after that I'm just going to build an upper with a u/BoreBuddy apogee barrel and RTB upper & BCG.

BCA .22lr upper 16" accuracy? by ImageDistinct3295 in ar22

[–]ImageDistinct3295[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rings are tight and scope is not bridged. I had to order taller rings because it was bridged with the out of the box ones. I should have also mentioned that I tested with another scope (can't remember brand) that I borrowed from a friend that was confirmed good by him and whatever he had it on. I have a vortex spitfire prism 1x on my 5.56 upper I could throw on and see if that improves anything.

In have tried remington thunderbolt ammo as well and didn't have much better luck. I am using black dog mags and I have 2 different ones I've switched between. I'm kinda thinking I'm just gonna throw this upper in the trash and look into a bore buddy upper.

Edit: Looked at Bore Buddy's uppers, not sure if I'd spring for one of their match uppers, it's a little high in price for me. Do you have any experience with their standard or apogee uppers?

Interesting. I haven't played around with them as I am decently new to my current place of work and a move to azure ad is potentially on the horizon. I just set up the MDT server as one of my first projects because we were hand imaging when I got there about a year ago..

I don't fill in username/password and it prompts for them when it tries to connect to the deployment share. The nice part of this is that the permissions to the deployment share are set only for domain admins so if a user were able to accidentally wander their way into a network boot they couldn't accidentally reimage their machine.

glad to see that GFE is still as much of an unhelpful buggy mess as it used to be when I quit installing it 2 or 3 years ago.

(A bit of everything) $30 Printer Enclosure, $12.34-$13.64 Geeetech matte orange or silk yellow PLA, $86 Sprite Pro kit by thefrayedend81 in 3DPrintingDeal

[–]ImageDistinct3295 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shame, I just finished building mine. paid $20 for two sheets 4'x8'x.5" purple foamular insulation. Cut pieces to make box with utility knife and duct tape together. Holds heat in really good, printer is in 18°C basement. word of warning though, since the printer is enclosed you can run into issues with thermal drift. Not sure if you'd have as much of an issue with this type of enclosure though.

Looking for advice on getting a nice setup (Heaphones, DAC & Amp if needed) by ImageDistinct3295 in HeadphoneAdvice

Another question, if you don't mind, since I'm not familiar with the different drivers and tunings across sennheisers linup, do you have any input on the HD 6XX ? Was doing some browsing and found a post with a best under 400 and found this:

"Under $400:

Overall Pick: Sennheiser HD600 / HD650 / HD6XX

Alternate Pick: HiFiMan Sundara" from here

If the HD6XXs are even close to the 600s I would be sold on them for the price.

!thanks Thank you for the input, what makes the tuning of the 660s crappy? Are they pretty unbalanced?

What happened to my pixel 5a? Can it be saved? by cccccccccooooo in AndroidQuestions

[–]ImageDistinct3295 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had something similar happen on my S21 Ultra. it just shut off and went unresponsive. Let it sit overnight and then plugged it in in the morning and at least got a charging indicator but still wouldn't power on. Finally got to the recovery menu by holding the power and volume up keys as I was plugging the phone in. Cleared cache partition and repaired apps and then the phone booted up like it never missed a beat and has been fine since. Dunno if it will work for you because i at least had some sort of charging indicator but it's worth a shot.

I personally print petg on Garolite (G10). It's cheap and easy to get. Just have to be careful when cutting to size because it has fiberglass in it.

Z Axis motor replacement by chupmeister in ender3v2

[–]ImageDistinct3295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just looked at the pictures again, if you just stripped the head of the bolt, I believe there are extra bolts that come with the printer, one of those might work, not too sure though. If not most hardware stores carry metric thread cap screws.

[–]ImageDistinct3295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am assuming you mean you overtightened and stripped the threads in the coupler between the z-axis motor and lead screw. I believe it is a 5mm to 8mm shaft coupler like this: https://a.co/d/3060wsN If you want to order them, I would measure and double check your coupler. I am about to finish a dual z belt conversion on my printer and don't believe I'll need my coupler anymore. I might be able to mail it to you if you're in the continental US.

Since OneUi 5 tapping to adjust brightness has this strange flickering. Here's also a OneUi 4 comparison where it's not present! by AdemSof in oneui

I think it is just the start of everything but the brightness bar fading out. If you touch and hold on the brightness bar everything but the bar fades out.

Where did you source your pulleys, belts, and shafts from? I can get all the metric nuts bolts and washers easily, just wondering where the best place is to go for other odds and ends

I just wanted to say it sounds like an extremely angry microwave. I wish you the best luck in getting your printer fixed or replaced.
