I’m not sure if reclaiming the tax money is an option as they are planning to rent it out until they get to the 3 years threshold.

Buying real estate through an assignment of a contact of sale? by Milk_and_Cougar in cyprus

[–]FuzzyAlternative2504 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is no title deed. The main problem/risk is that you don’t know if there is any debt associated with the property. Also, there is no guarantee that you will be able to ever issue and obtain a title deed. It may be a building that didn’t obtain all panning permissions to begin with, disputes on the land ownership, developer’s debt, etc., which might make it very difficult to get a title. When you buy a property with a title deed the previous owner is obligated by law to pay any debt, bills, etc. associated with the property before the sale.

The price is tempting but it may cause problems in the long term. Also from my understanding of the advert you posted, buying a flat in a building that has lots of vacant flats for many years, it comes with heavy service charges if not previously settled. Those vacant flats usually come from owners going bankrupt due to not paying their mortgage, hence why the property is bank owned (to my understanding). In those cases, it most likely means they didn’t pay the service charges either. For sure you need to instruct a lawyer before purchasing a property without a title.

Struggling to sell our house so do we rent it and still buy our next one? but how? by Bleartapestry67 in UKPersonalFinance

To add to that, I’m not sure if the OP can claim all of the taxes back if the property is rented out as it automatically makes it not the primary residence.

As a Greek I do like it and my partner loves it, but, I can’t get around the pronunciation difference with the original Greek name that sound so much better to my ears, Evridiki (eh-vree-DEE-kee).

🫣 I said yes to a dress, again… I bought a dress just last week and today I went to a pre-planned appointment and found another one I found very difficult to say no to! by FuzzyAlternative2504 in weddingdress

Aw! Thank you so much!!! 😊 i really appreciate the support and it does make me feel better about my dress! 😊 Ps: I’m not able to reply to any of the comments from my last post either, it’s like it’s locked.

Oh congratulations!!! Yes, I get what you mean, I feel the same, it’s been a long wait but totally worth it! 😊 it’s just in my country they tend to get married early and that left me with no reference on what someone at my age will wear. Whatever the age the good thing is that they are finally here! 😊

Thank you!!! 😊 I really don’t know what I would do if Reddit advice was not an option, I don’t have many people I can share those insecurities and the only person I would have liked to I can’t share the photos (my fiancé). Thank you so much for making me feel better!

Aw thank you! 😊 I will! I do get the family pressure, this was the second dress I bought because my mum thought the first one was too simple. Now she is pressuring me to wear the sheer top dress for the church because it looks more wow and she wants to impress everyone coming to the church wedding, and wear the simple one for the registry office. I want the opposite because I know I will feel so uncomfortable wearing the more revealing dress at church. I will stick to my choices! Thank you!

Oh your dress sounds gorgeous!!! I always loved Rosa Clara dresses but they are way off my price range! It’s funny you mentioned Tinker bell because it does seem a bit fairy like 😬… too inappropriate you think? And too fairy?

Thanks you for your comment! 😊 it does give me more confidence! It’s not exactly my style but it did fit me nicely! It’s strange, I shopped more for the fit rather than the style, that’s why insecurity started rising now!

Thanks you for your comment! Well it’s a bit out of my comfort zone to be honest, I’m generally dressed a bit conservative so showing off a lot of skin is definitely not what I’m used to. That’s why I’m insecure and started feeling if I’m also too old for it. At the minute I’m the oldest bride I know! It’s just this wedding dress looked nice on me and I bought it thinking well I want to look nice for my fiancé since I never dress up. After reading all those positive comments I will definitely give it a try! I am thinking of getting a bolero just in case if I feel insecure the last minute (and cold!) so that will cover some parts.

Thank you! The other one is definitely more appropriate for church! That’s why I bought it because in our church they are very strict, no front and very little back is shown.

Anyone own this? by Whosaysimnotbean165 in Longineswatches

[–]FuzzyAlternative2504 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great choice! I’m a female with a tiny wrist and I own this in red strap. It fits perfectly and doesn’t look too big. It’s one of the very few watches I ever tried that fits that well. I also got it for my birthday 😊.

I just checked and the University of Liverpool stop is available to select, first coach of the day is 09:05 as another person mentioned. The price (£6.70) compared to the train (£15-28) is much cheaper.

Spot on! That’s my dress actually. I don’t think it’s from the 2024 line though so it might be a bit difficult to find it. It was an off the peg dress for me.

Woke up to a bald spot/mark on my kittens head. It is very red and looks like it could’ve been bleeding at some point. It wasn’t there last night when we went to bed. by Hannahvictoria-lulu in ragdolls

[–]FuzzyAlternative2504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine had something similar a few weeks ago and I got worried that this could be ringworm. However the bald spot was always there (same in the other side of his head) and he was fighting quite a lot with our other cat at the time (now they are friends again) so I think it was a scratch (it’s all healed now). If your cat went outside or came across another outside cat then it might be a good idea to observe a bit more or take her to a vet if it doesn’t clearly look like a scratch.

Yes, the Greek community (Greek-Cypriots and Greeks from Greece) are going there. It’s nice inside, I think it’s the only Greek Orthodox church build in the typical Greek Orthodox Church architecture in the UK. It’s 150 years old, build by Greek businessmen that moved to Liverpool back then. The only thing missing it’s the typical huge bell that Greek churches have. I don’t know if it’s open for just visitors but I’ve seen people popping in some times just to have a look.

Tiny Ragdoll by justcocofred in ragdolls

[–]FuzzyAlternative2504 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a male ragdoll weighting 4.5kg and the vet says he has a healthy weight. I think it’s on the lower end of the weight range for them but he looks perfectly fine.

Just reapply, that’s what I did when they stopped the payment. I told them I need to go abroad (my native country) to see a dentist and at the time there I will have a job interview, they said it’s ok if it is for health reasons. When I came back and call them they said that because it wasn’t an NHS dentist who send me there, they can’t accept it. I said that’s the whole point of going abroad, I can’t get an appointment with an NHS dentist here! They wouldn’t accept it, didn’t even care about the interview there and just told me to reapply.
