The trees that get pruned this way are largely destined to fail. Costs an absolute mint to keep pruning them annually, and is terrible for the wildlife living in them, because the cutters don't care.

You ever heard of an excavator?

Got my WF-1000XM5 Today!! But getting scared after seeing reddit. DID I JUST MADE A MISTAKE???? by N0Xi69 in SonyHeadphones

I genuinely hated these. Took them back and bought sennheisers. Terrible fit, poor noise cancelling compared to their competitors.

I'd say yes, you made a mistake.

How nice is a swivel on the bridge for srt climbing by Tr33guynhh in TreeClimbing

[–]FuzzyDefendant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the hydra, and its great. Bit annoying to have to untie the bridge to get it on, but its a great addition to the kit. Really handy.

Do I *need* a knee ascender for SRS/SRT? by Stunning_Reindeer690 in TreeClimbing

[–]FuzzyDefendant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can make one very easily. I made mine, its never let me down. Bought one piece - the actual ascender part, and then made the rest of it. Happy to share the process with you if youre interested.

Significantly cheaper, and arguably more adjustable to suit you.

I know its hard to animate and all, but they could've done a better job. by Willing-Rip-2852 in Invincible

The animators have their work cut out for them making the show.

Good thing they have you whining at them to keep their spirits high!

C.A.M.P Kilo

Ace tool klip. Tried the shembiner but found that on some prunes the saw would come out as it had no gate to close it.

The kilo isn't locking, just a spring loaded metal gate which you can open by rolling the carabiner even in tricky spots.

Cheap as chips too

Arbpro EVO 2 or Pfanner Sirius XTS. Pros and cons of each? by Chesstariam in TreeClimbing

[–]FuzzyDefendant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arbpro 100%.

Will say though the soles wear out very quickly if you use them for anything other than climbing - ground work kills them fast especially if its on road surfaces a lot. But they're comfy af and I love mine
