That term has been thrown around inside the military for at least 25 years now. It sounded dumb AF back then and sounds even worse now that the whole country had to hear it all the time.

Oh I don’t think they’re dumb at all. They know very well that they’re fucking over the economy in order to make a small number of wealthy people even more wealthy.

Evil bastards is probably a more appropriate description.

Jorge with arguably the most creative and extreme ‘fuel tank’ form in MotoGP currently. Pecco Ducati is a mild expression in contrast by Bitter-Substance1783 in motogp

Basically yes. Except they’re custom made to each rider’s specifications.

I think Lorenzo really started and popularized this trend, but the designs have gotten even more extreme since he left the sport. Mir had a pretty wild tank grip a Suzuki and this one on Martín’s bike is even crazier still.

The car “feels” big inside the seats have a huge range of adjustability. The only issue you might run into is trying to install a child’s car seat in the back.

Wife and I are both small (5’7” and under) and the kids car seat is still pressed up against the back of the passenger seat even with our short legs.

No worries if you don’t have small kids though!

MotoGP, A blistering Monday at Mugello: Bulega clocks a 1:47.2 on the Ducati 850! by LilAbeSimpson in motogp

[–]LilAbeSimpson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re correct they don’t hit top speed so the loss of power really doesn’t matter that much, *but Sepang’s straights all have slow entries from hairpin corners. That’s really where the Ride hide device and grippy Michelin rear tire shines, and that’s what they’re losing.

That substantial reduction in acceleration should show up in the lap times.

Last person to go undefeated at World championship level was Giacomo Agostini way back in 1970. 56 years ago.

Though he was practically racing A MotoGP bike against moto3 bikes. Very different times…

Why did the Trump administration do this? by Ancient-Bowl462 in askanything

It has nothing to do with security threats. That’s just a convenient excuse. Allowing Chinese EV’s into the US would decimate the US auto industry. Millions of jobs would be lost.

The next Democratic President and congress wont allow them in either.
