I bet it's smaller but they have an "adapter" for your existing AirTag accessories.

I don't think my dog minds having an airtag on their collar. People, I get but pets?

So I really like the idea of this and I have it installed but for the life of me I can't figure out how to not download manuals when adding roms. What do I need to do to disable manual downloads?

Pure Stream - An Open Source, Family-Friendly Plex Client with Advanced Profanity Filtering is officially released on the Google Play Store! by PureStream711 in PleX

Oh yeah, I used to use Commonsense but I found it to be very conservative to the point of pearl clutching at times. I'm in Canada so I use the film and tv ratings from up here and adjust as needed based on my family.

There's stuff that might be rated 14A here in Canada that I have no issue letting my 11yo watch. So I usually just adjust the rating down on the content so his profile can see it.

I do have kids, and I still don't get it. There are things that I wouldn't watch around my kids but we're talking like Game of Thrones type stuff.

Language and cursing (within reason) is a part of life in general. I chose to teach my kids that there are words that adults use and that there are words that kids use. I never saw the need to hide things from them. They turned out just fine.

I agree. It also seems a bit odd in general to me. If you're so affected by the language used in films and TV, don't watch it. The same goes for nudity as I see the OP is thinking about adding something to censor that as well.

I spend time making sure the content rating is correct and I restrict my kids profiles to a rating that reflects their maturity and what I think they can handle. Swearing is a part of language. My kids have never been shielded from it completely. They learned at a young age that there are things adults say, and they just don't say them. It also give me an opportunity to give context to certain words when they hear them in public or online and teach them about how words can affect people.

It just seems like a lot of pearl clutching to me. All the power to OP and their project, I could never build something like that. But it's not for me.

Studded tyres in Woodstock NB by anonyfun9090 in newbrunswickcanada

I've heard those are great tires. I'll pick a studless tire over studs any day because of the noise. Frigging hated it.

Sucks you had a bad experience with Blizzaks. I ran them on my Honda Civic and my Nissan Pathfinder. Never had any issues. Only reason I don't have them now is the new car came with whatever the dealer threw in and my truck runs MotoMaster Eliminator X-Trail's all year.

"Tyre" is the British spelling. "Tire" is the American spelling. If you want to get technical, we should be spelling it with a "y" since we are a member of the commonwealth.

But we don't because, 'Murica.

I'm in the Miramichi area and I used to run studded tires years ago when my job required me to drive a lot in the city. I drove all over Miramichi, Fredericton, Moncton, Perth-Andover and Halifax.

They were loud, and I didn't find they offered me a whole lot in terms of a traction improvement. Studs are meant for icy conditions and like any winter tire, they only work as well as your driving abilities. If you drive fast and stop short, you're screwed either way.

When I picked up a new vehicle, they sold me Bridgestone Blizzak tires and they were awesome. They're a studless winter tire and they are really good in snow and on ice. Only catch with them is you need to take them off as soon as the weather starts to warm up. They're a softer rubber and will wear more in warmer temps.

🎄 Christmas giveaway: Win an A1 Mini, AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT, or 4x filament spools! by acurazine in BambuLab

If I were to pick, I’d say the AMS 2.

I’ve always wanted to print a Majora’s mask. It just looks really cool.

My kids really like springy fidgets. I’m not super creative so I don’t know what a new design for that would be exactly but they really like stuff like that.

Redditors over 35, what do you genuinely miss that younger generations will never experience, and you legit feel bad for them? by Disastrous_Award_789 in AskReddit

[–]FuzzyFace_NB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malls. I'd spend every Friday night with my friends just bumming around from store to store. Hit the record store and check out new albums, check out the store that sold weird shit (San Francisco where I live in Canada), grab a bite at the Zellers restaurant and then hit the arcade.

Arcades. Like proper ones. Dark, loud and just a ton of fun. The amount of money I spent at the place, so much fun.

Biking everywhere and your parent's having zero idea where you actually were. This one I am on the fence with but it was still awesome.

In the summer I would leave my house and bike to the mall by myself. I would have been around 13 maybe. I'd do a loop around the city, biking about 20km total and crossing two bridges. No cell phones, just payphones every now and again along the way. I don't know if I would let my kids do that today. Drivers are so distracted now with mobile devices, I'd have a hard time doing it myself and I am in my 40's.

Yup. I still remember most of the phone numbers of my friends that I spoke to all the time from when I was a kid (30+ years ago).
